lol, sometimes if I play a scrub I will let him win one round or just let him take little more than my health before I beat him. To give him the illusion that he is actually doing something. I works until I beat him like 20 times in a row.

Same here. I generally reserve the shit talking for people who are at or above level 20 at still don’t know a single solid combo for there character yet. Noel’s mashing D, Hakumen’s mashing j.C and Jin’s that Icicle Ride then mash C. Especially the Hakumen’s. I don’t even think 90% people who play him realize what his drive does.
Well, his drive is pretty situational anyway. And pretty punishable once whiffed.
Unless you’re good at guessing, which is hard to do online.
Or if your opponent is being predictable too, I guess.
I haven’t had any rage mail yet, just “nice matches, you’re good with Nu.” etc I’ve had quite a few rage quitters in ranked matches, leading to my 13 incompletes (sucks that when THEY ragequit, it hurts your record). I’ve mostly had pre-match quits, when people just see my main or level. I’ve only legitimately rage quit 1 or 2 times on a bad day, but even then I just bottle up my anger inside instead of sending rage mail.
I’ve been getting kicked from rooms for no reason myself and I don’t know why. I play Noel but I don’t D-spam; in fact I hardly use it until I can do so PROPERLY in combos and cancels.
No hatemail yet either, luckily. I’m sure it’ll come up as soon as I nail Noel’s landing D recovery :wgrin:
So I just played someone who picked Jin and spammed ice car…So I sat back and punished it on block.
Yeah, he sent me an angry message that I run away like a bitch and that I should get good at the game. He also claimed that the only reason he used it was to chase “people like me” who run away. 
No rage quitting or hatemail, but Esjhn got mad at my Litchi today. I feel bad though, but basically he was saying I was abusing Litchi’s DP too much and that they were random.
I’m just learning the game still, but I’m glad I got a ton of praise from others online though.
i actually got a voice mail the other that said " yeah gg game kid this is why no one can take noel seriously and no one gives a fuck about noel because all you do is mash D and slide easiest cross over in fightigng game history!!!"
i responded “if it is so easy it should be easy to defend against”
didnt get a replay but i barely use her D unless its combo oriented or i can get an over head smash with it.
Offtopic, but I friended an AMAZING Noel player on PSN, he’s able to get about 2 or 3 grabs in a single air combo, it was so beautiful. Haven’t seen anything like it, was quite impressed.
not to sound like a jackass, but that means you or whoever he did it on is pretty terrible.
It’s not hard to do at all, i’ve done it on people before. The reason why I and I’m sure a lot of better Noel players don’t do it is because an air grab brings up two purple exclamation points meaning it is easy to tech out of and it is always safer to just continue your combo instead of grab. I throw it in from time to time as a mix up. But never a focus.
yo i faced the same guy too…but he picked Jin and kept spamming 5D whenever i used the surfboard move -_-
then he messaged me calling me a scrub but i told him that spamming moves is what a scrub does -_-
Still would be cool to see. I do lots of throws with Tao and even though the !! are on the screen for a while, it seems like the tech window is smaller than that. Maybe its just be?
I saw a vid of a pretty good Tao connect Cat Spirit One with an air throw right after it. I thought it was pretty cool.

I’m not the best Rachel player but I’m not one to ragequit during a match. I have gotten my ass handed to me a few times, I wanted to say to a few Jin’s that they were good, (performed combos that actually didn’t have the C-mash or used the ice ride in close proximity) I’ve had two people as Tager send hatemail because i played defensively.
Also we can’t review our matches like in SF4 so, its harder to send hatemail.
P.S. anyone who has played me as Rachel I apologize for my scrubbiness I’m in the process of getting better.
I got “Stop doing the same move you fucking faggot bitch. Have you ever been laid?” by some Ragna. I was Tao and did 6C until he died… literally off the wall until he died. He never tech’d it once.
Guess i should add to the topic since i have post several times in the thread.
After 200/300 some odd matches (rank and casual) I have recieved no hatemail, only GG/Good Noel/Finally…a Noel player who doesn’t spam/good job.
But i’ve been ragequit on several times.
Oh I know, I’m the same with the Litchi grab loops. I usually just do up to 2 then call stick for extra damage. Sometimes I’m lucky enough to get off a 6C then Tsubame. But yea haha, just the way he rushed the guy down right from the start and did that fat combo on him was delicious. Took over 50%.
I main Hakumen and I got this voice message from x knucklez x or something. “Can’t win without a boss character faggot”.
