then stay out of this thread. don’t get mad at us because you were stupid enough to come in this thread and not expect spoilers. i say that with lots of love
Can’t wait to read the next issue.
The tension is at it’s max !
WHAT
THE
FUCK??!!!
I read the latest issue at the comic store and I actually let out a “holy shit!”
This is why I hate and love this book… One of my favorite characters…just going out like… ah, perhaps I’ve said too much.:shake:
Yea i know what you’re talking about, but the way I see it, if the town turns on the gov, Rick and company are going to have no reason to leave the prison (which is what I really want). It seems like a lot of the suspense the comic had at first was lost as soon as the group made it to the prison. Since being in the prison it seems like the focus has shifted from surviving to the personal relationships between characters. Obviously looking at how the survivors cope with the situation is an important dynamic of any good Zombie story, but enough with the safety of the prison.
Rick and company have literally been in the prison for over two years (our time, not story time) and i really feel it’s time for a change of location. I haven’t seen Rick fight his way out of a Zombie hoard in over two years!
Yeah…so why the hell would they leave?? Prison = safety.
Thats why i want the gov. and his posse to take the prison while rick and his crew escape. That wont happen if the govs. people “turn on his ass and side with Rick and crew”
Walking Dead 48 Issue Summary: Everything changes.
yo seriously, so much carnage…
wow kirkman you are heartless
Heartless and entertaining as hell.
WE ARE THE WALKING DEAD!!!
I hope Rick and Michonne become an interacial zombie surviving couple.
She is supposed to meet back up with Ricks group apparently. She’ll probably be a zombie just to fuck with us.
Happy days…issue 48 was probably the heaviest issue in the series thus far.
Proof that [Onslaught]NO ONE IS SAFE!![/Onslaught] in WD.
Random bull shit I’ve been thinking about:
Insert Title Of Spoiler Here
[details=Spoiler] Ok first off, i hope Kirkman keeps Rick and Carl on their own for a while. At least 6 issues. Kirkman could rip off The Road so well if he keeps Rick and Carl alone (which would be fine, cause The Road was fucking crazy). Obviously Michonne is going to have to get back in the picture eventually, but I really hope it isn’t in the next few issues.
I’m just praying Michonne doesn’t appear to save the day next issue, and Rick, Carl and her end up finding another small group of survivors in a mall or some shit by issue 50. Kirkman needs to switch it up, and say fuck it to safty for a while. I’m also pretty pissed Rick lost his hand at this point too. There was no real need for it to happen to begin with, and now he’s just going to be less of a bad ass while on the run from zombies.[/details]

[details=Spoiler]Michonne is supposed to come back in issue 52, so that is four issues.
I just read a summary of the Road, I hope the next four issues are just like that. I want Rick to make some sort of hammer hand or something so he can smash on zombies with it.
I hope Rick and Carl are alone for the four issues and then become a trio for like 8 issues with Michonne.[/details]
Wow.
What the frack is going on???
Talk about cleaning fucking house!
At least Michonne is still in the picture… for now at least
Kirkman is an animal. An animal I tell you.
If only hollywood had the balls to make a movie half this intense.

Spoiler
Nice, that’s pretty much exactly what I wanted to happen, TWD might become my favorite monthly again. Rick really does need to do some thing about that hand though. Hammer hand would be bad assed.
Edit: Any one here read the Monster series? Any TWD fan should pick up Monster Island for sure, probably one of the best zombie stories I’ve ever read (next to TWD of course).
I just read a quick summary for it on the interwebs.
I might have to make a trip to the book store and get the road and the monster series. Or just read it online for free apparently.
Yea, I should have mentioned you can read the monster series online, I opted to buy the books though…some thing about reading a novel on my computer bugs me. Pick up The Road for sure though. I generally stay away from Oprah Book Club picks, but The Road is pure win. I sat down, read the first 20 pages, and emerged from my room 3 hours later with the book finished. I just couldn’t put it down.
Rick isn’t a bad ass though. He’s represents a human being who is pushed to his limits. I wouldn’t be surprised if he started to lose it. (Mentally ):wonder:
