At least Mania had the Women’s Triple Threat and Zack Ryder actually winning something.

All this had was Lucille…and even Mania had that.

And buttface. Can’t forget about buttface. :dizzy:

Critics are ripping last night’s episode to shit. They make excellent points, too, such as robbing viewers of one of the most gut-wrenching scene in the comics, wasting Andrew Lincoln’s acting talent on that scene, unfairly stringing viewers along after they’ve dealt with a lot of long in the tooth episodes, creating a cliche as fuck ending, et al.

I Just want to say that the one that must hurt the most is Lincoln’s acting going to waste on that scene. The dude must’ve reached down into somewhere scary to convince viewers that he really was finally against a wall and out of answers and scared as fuck.

I actually kind of feel bad for Kirkman on this oddly enough. When I saw him give his take on trying to explain it, it came across as like “yeah, I know this is bullshit, but I have to try and hype this stuff up” that people often wind up having to do. It’s like whenever Ultrachen go on trying to praise/defend some awful FGC shit like the Master Series because they felt they had to be “professional”.

hmm… wasn’t there a blog made before the mid season opener that some of the actors got so upset over the ending (which was leading us to believe a real gruesome death), i bet this was actually what it was referring to.

Link to it. I’d like to read it.

This was, in so many ways, one of the shittiest endings I’ve ever witnessed due to the season being stretched so fucking thin characters were doing shit they would NEVER do in order to add to the story.

Gotta fill that hour!

It’s probably not in reference to the actual shit we got, i may be over thinking way too uch

Yeah, it sounds like it was just the brutality of the scene. He probably had zero idea how it was edited in post.

I just keep in mind that cheesy blood drip on the lens. It was so cheap-looking.

Lauren almost quit over the scene where she had to cut the baby out of Lori.

When I saw Daryl was gonna have his own show I thought maybe he’s the one that’s gonna die way to spoil it AMC. But now I heard the show is only gonna be 6 episodes long.

Lol what a shitty ending they dragged the episodes long enough just so we get a cliffhanger at the end.

They said they weren’t going to follow the comics. If you slow the audio down during the bat scene this is what it sounds like.

If they weren’t going to follow the comics we wouldn’t have Negan.

The actors were fucking great. Literally the ONE THING that ruined it was the cliffhanger. All they had to do was show the death/reactions/etc, have Negan read Rick the riot act, and then end with Negan walking away saying “We’ll come for your first offering in a week. Until then…Ta-ta”

That’s not cliffhanger enough though, apparently. Gimple and the cunts that work for him deserve all of the fucking hate mail and criticism that they’re about to receive.

They’re getting fucking killed out there. Every review I’ve read today pretty much says fuck the director for this shit.

The comic version worked in the comics and it would’ve worked here. We saw a drawn-out season for nothing.

Now I get why they didn’t call the episode “Something To Fear.” It’s because there was Nothing To Fear.

This episode didn’t need the extra 30 minutes. It just didn’t. Eliminate one of the road obstacle scenes and one of the Morgan/Carol scenes, keep the Kingdom people, and that’s that. Disappoint us in 60 minutes instead of 90. I could’ve gotten 30 extra minutes of sleep.

The worst part about the dragged out road scenes is that everyone should’ve realized in 30 seconds that “hmm…if they have one road blocked, they’ll have all of them blocked.”

The entire last quarter of the season was predicated on Rick’s Alexandria suddenly turning into utter morons all culminating in an extra 30 minutes where we can see them have the deductive reasoning skills of an infant.

If Glenn actually ends up being the victim it’s even more of a cop out since we have to wait all this time to find out in contrast to what we already know about the source material and Glenn’s cosmic lucky streak. It’s like the only way to justify this BS is if it’s anyone except Glenn and even then it’s still a major cop out since all the emotional gravitas of that scene is gong to be lost to time. Kudos to Andrew Lincoln and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, those two sure as shit earned those paychecks with their acting regardless of the malarkey.

If last season is anything to go by they’ll keep us waiting till the new season but then drop a trailer that reveals it.

Shit like this is why people are tuning out of television and cutting the cord.
Always some corporate garbage ruining shit.
Might as well wait till a show is over then watch on netflix with no 30 mins of fucking commercials and no waiting 6 months on a disappointing ending.
Fans deserve better, the actors deserved better.

People should refuse to watch the premeire and let those ratings plummet to send a message
