Pretty sure that he wouldnāt have 2 episodes to debate thatā¦heād be lucky to have 2 hours.
As for how the viewers wanted it, all most viewers cared about is killing zombies. Eventually the mass slaughter is gonna wear thin without some actual desire behind it. While we shouldnāt get the complete lull in action (and common sense) that we had too damn often in Season 2, shouldnāt just have complete slaughter too often either. However, since we have two separate groups now doing shit, we should have a good balance for the season.
Herschel getting bitten was such a fucking cop out. I got mad about that, actually. Again it comes with zombies acting inconsistently throughout the series. Since when did zombies just lie around sleeping and waiting for someone to activate their trap card? I donāt really mind Herschel getting bit, but how it was done was stupid as hell. :lol: I also donāt understand how there were some zombies that climbed over a chainlink fence in the first season but donāt even make an attempt to do so during the prison yard scene. Carl making head shots with a pistol at long range was pretty hilarious. āWe donāt have a lot of ammo.ā No shit, Rick? Tell your son to not attempt head shots at 100 yards.
All in all it was a pretty good episode though.

Iām just gonna go out and say not all shots were headshots.
You see Gleen smashing a zombieās head in at the end of that scene.
Chances are, we just got the āmoney shotsā and the crew cleaned up later.
Regardless, itās probably best to save pistol ammo for mid to close range. Not worth shooting a pistol from a guard tower. Wouldāve been more productive if Carl was with Rick and watching his back in that scene.
I also wonder if the home made silencers they made for their pistols actually work IRL. :lol:
I can actually tell you from experience you can make home made silencers.
Damn good episode. Lori wasnāt that annoying and pointless drama was kept to a minimal. Hershel is the new Dale. Very strong start hope they keep the pace.
BTW: Silencers are never that quiet.
