What are you basing the character’s usefulness off of? The only ones that don’t do anything are Tdog, Lori, Carol and Herschel’s other daughter

rick is the leader, and after the season finale, nobody looked like they wanted to step up.
I would say that daryl is unique too (can track & has a high utility weapon) but he will be completely be out shined by Michonne in season 3. So I wouldn’t be surprised if hes the next to die, in witch Carol will follow.
I guess carl is unique cause if he died rick would turn out to be like shane or even worse.
Glenn was their runner in the first couple of episodes, and might become useful later.

I don’t see Carl as being useful because of Rick. Although Rick believed he would find them he had to think they were dead until they all met up. He was doing OK prior to that. What messed him up was Shane talking all that shit and trying to kill him
Carl and Lori cause alot of problems for the group which puts Rick in a situation where he is making decisions against the group because of them
I don’t think Andrea is replaceable now since she is one of the few who can use a weapon
You might be right about Michonne and Daryl but I think his loner attitude won’t let Her affect him, that much

I don’t think ones gonna out shine the other daryl is is pretty much ricks new 2nd in command.and is really over with the fan base.so they might try to keep the original character around for a while longer.and I don’t think the rick character has much of a place to go to if they kill off his son.some aspects get changed for improvement or unforeseen events but theres just certain parts of the story that its better not to deviate from
hershal and beth are pretty much no brainers to get axed next along with carol and maybe T-dog
Ya this season was full of “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WHEN IT MAKES SENSE TO DO THIS INSTEAD!” moments. If I recall, I praised season 1 on not having such stupid decisions.
As much as I like Darryl, he seems pretty bipolar at times. One moment, he’s telling everyone to go fuck themselves, and the next, he’s stepping up to help Rick run the group.

I watched the finale again last night, Herschel clearly reached into his pockets a couple times when Carol n Lori were talking. Jimmy is a fuckin fool, and who gives a shit about Patricia. Can’t wait for the next season to start… do we have a date for the season premiere yet or is it still just Fall? Also anybody seen any word on how many episodes its going to be or if they are going to do that lame ass break in the middle of the season again?
Shane dying is going to end up being a great thing for the show, guys. The dude was broken once Rick came back, his mantra of Kill 'Em All would have torn the group apart until it was just him Lori and Carl (who even at that point would be terrified of him). Now we have one leader who has no strong outside influences (Save Lori) on decision making so he has to make sense of every thing himself - its going to be good.

Find prison, have Beth’s head cut off by serial killer inmate right after Andrea gets home, with just enough time to get her cute little face cut (idk how this will work because there isn’t anybody at the farm for Michonne & Andrea to follow to the Prison like the books also Michonne arrived after the serial killer story) then Rick breaks his hand in the dude’s face. Rick kills big black inmate during Zombie attack; T-Dawg sees and fights Rick (we need Tyreese and his kids…fuck). Axel is a character. You follow me? Then the Governor arc. I’ll bet a bunch of that shit won’t happen, but I can hope right? You follow me?

Daryl is simply human. After trying so hard and nearly dying he was racked with guilt and the fact that he broke his promise. He didn’t want to be around anyone or help because he felt there was no point. Considering how much he put himself out there to rescue and already-dead Sophia, his actions made the most sense out of any other character so far.
Should be around Halloween Time, that’s what they did with Season 1 & 2
As for Shane, i really like his character. IMO after killing Otis, he pretty much tried to live his life rationalizing what he did to survive. I believe that’s why he did what he did to justify his guilt. I gotta feeling that’s what’s going to happen w/ Rick next season.

Tdawg will drop the car keys in a ditch, putting Carol in danger. Daryl will be like fucker did it again, goes to help Carol…Daryl ends up dying & then Carol pathetic ass will give up & die too…

There is no upside to Shane being dead.
From what i came across the actor that played dale requested to be let go out of his contact early due to the firing of the head guy. Shane lasted longer on the show because they debated on keeping him around longer in the books but had no direction for his character…
