Lori is the definition of a dumb bitch.
Not that Im in support of lori’s stupid behavior, but from what I hear, she was more upset at herself because she felt responsible for rick killing shane(apparently the write dude said this on talking dead). Unfortunately, in typical female fashion, she took it out on her man instead of herself(excuse the sexism ladies, you know I love y’all).
Overall sick finale though, ricks speech at the end was both welcome, and a little disturbing since he seemed to become more like my boy shane. It was welcome though, all the criticizing of his actions was getting kinda old(what difference would it have made if he told them they were all infected), I was glad he finally put his foot down and let them know. I just hope daryl still sticks by his side, cause I like daryl but more importantly, I like the relationship him and rick are developing.
Other than that, sick episode, wasn’t too disappointed no major character died since we lost 2 important ones in the last 2 episodes. Actually thought andrea was gonna die though, and then BAM sword wielding badass pops outta nowhere. Hopefully they handle her properly since I heard(I don’t read the comics) andrea is a badass in the comics, but other than in a few episodes this season-the finale one of them-she didn’t really come off as badass, so Im hoping the do better with michonne. Although now that shes been introduced, I worry about T-dog since he served no purpose this entire season other than bringing some racial variety.
Andrea takes a while to level up in the comics too. Michonne on the other hand is an out and out survivor from day 1 meeting her.
I don’t get why Michonne’s two pets don’t constantly try to attack her. Zombies can’t be trained. They should see her and just start going after her even if they don’t have a lower jaw.
The actress that plays andrea (lori, lol) is so hot, titties are sooo nice.

In the books, Michonne said they tried to attack her, but eventually lost interest when they realized they couldn’t do shit to her.
If Rick becomes more like Shane then that is a good thing. Rick puts way too much emotion into his decision making and doesnt go off survival instinct as nearly as he should like Shane. I was upset when Shane died… him and Daryl are pretty much the 2 reasons I watch this show.
Edwin Jenner said in episode 6 when Lori asks if the virus reactivates the brain, “No, just the brain stem. Basically, it gets them up and moving…just a shell driven by mindless instinct.”
I haven’t really studied the brain, but I’m going to take a guess that training an animal requires the subject to have a higher level of development than the medulla, pons, and midbrain. It’s true that the substantia nigra (part of midbrain) is involved in learning, but if I remember correctly it requires more than just the midbrain. Pretty much, part of the brainstem plays a role in learning. However, other parts of the brain are required, which wouldn’t be activated by the virus if it restarts only the brain stem.
Edit: Then again, the zombies have proven to be smarter than expected, so I’ll just stop talking now.

Why does Lori get so much screen time? You only see her cry before and after Rick comes back from his adventures in the comic.

Yeah, the shotgun Herschel was using can hold a maximum of 4 shells. Maybe there’s different models that can maybe hold 6 and I know auto-shotguns can hold 8-10 shells max. If they had just shown him reloading more it would’ve been more realistic.
I like the b-movie aspects of Walking Dead.
Infinite ammo is one of them.
At least I wasn’t the only one to notice that he had infinite ammo for a shotgun that hold up up to 8 shells >(

I still maintain people in this show are idiots when it comes to zombie avoidance. For instance. If I was in an open field with half a million zombies I would never ignore what is behind me. I would check behind my shoulder all the time.
I mean yea it is for dramatic effect, but it is unbelievable. I would never turn my back on potential zombie angles.

another scene that annoyed me was when maggie freaked out when the zombies were on top of her car. me and my buddy were like wtf is her problem when she decided to reverse.
