You would think the redneck with the crossbow would be the least reasonable person on the show, but after Rick, Darryl’s probably the most reasonable and stable person.
I’m glad that in February the show will go from The Missing Girl and back to The Walking Dead. I hope. Let’s hope it won’t be The Pregnant Woman.

I know that Daryl said on a little girl could fit confortably in there but fuck man if I was running from walkers and trying to hide I wouldnt give a rats ass how uncomfortable a hiding spot was as long as it was good. I mean pretty much the whole point of all those hints was for us to “think” she was still alive… its doesn’t necessarily mean that all those hints were actually related to Sophia… except for the teddy bear.
I was actually wondering the same thing about her only being bit and not entirely devoured by a walker. I mean dont walkers basically have the non threshhold pain strength of zombies? So if a grown man have issues pushing them away there is no way a little girl would be able to fight one off if it got ahold of her… of course unless she got bit by another child walker?? A backstory to how she got bit would be pretty cool.
I still am having a hard time figuring out how the issue of them searching for Sophia never came up after Carl got shot… as the decision to go after the equipment at the school wasn’t right away. Someone had to have asked what they were doing in the woods and then Otis could have told them that he had just captured a little girl and put her in the barn that day or whatever.
Shane is honestly the only smart one of the group. He realizes that it is a zombie apocolypse and that emotional decisions are pretty much deadly ones. That entire scene of him screaming and shooting the female walker was so epic. It was the ultimate “You are fucking stupid for thinking like this” speech.[/details]

It does make sense that Rick, Shane, and Lori failed to mention Sophia when Carl had been shot for all of ten minutes. They still thought she was alive and well. And Otis (who took Sophia to the barn) left in a hurry to get the medical supplies, who wouldn’t?

Omg really O_O Now it’s kinda beginning to make sense as to why Hershall wanted them gone so fast. If he’s rounding up zombies all day, he would have picked Sophia up at some point. So when they said they were looking for a little girl…how could he have not known? Granted Otis used to do it but surely he told them all what was going on?
Shit’s gonna fly though. I mean, he thought they were just sick people, it’s like watching your family being killed before you, but then it’s gonna fly back from everyone else about Sophia.
And agreed, two month wait is way better than a year. Glad Daryl isn’t dead :3 He’s my favourite character so far and my favourites usually die first.

Just checking; the consensus is that Otis found a zombified Sophia and got her in the barn? I’ve been thinking maybe Sophia stayed the night at that house Daryl found, then sometime made her way to the farmhouse, didn’t see anyone around, or maybe a zombie (the one in the well?) and hid in the barn and got bit there.
I guess spoiler tags are out then? If you notice when they’re putting collars on the two [S]zombies [/S] walkers in the river, Hershel mentions that “This used to be Otis’ task.” [details=Spoiler] Sophia got hit up somewhere near the river, Otis found her and put her in the barn. And he died before anyone got a chance to mention Sophia to him.[/details] This was all confirmed by both Robert Kirkman and the show’s director btw.
I’ve always liked Sophia, I’ve been wanting her to become a more central character for a long time. Guess I should be careful what I wish for.
