I didn’t expect the first episode of Season 2 to be mad slow. I expected it to have a little more enjoyment than a searching party. However, the ending was a surprise. Can’t wait for next week.

I think the episode dragged out a bit too long with the whole “little girl went missing” thing.
And what’s up with the ending?? Did that little boy try to reach out to Rudolf and tame it or something? lol. The gunshot was really surprising, fucked up, and so random! I guess they did that to leave the episode off a hanger or so.[/details]
The comic book shits on the television show but I’ll keep watching hoping it will get better.
Hate the Soap Opera bullshit and looking forward to the Shane character being killed off.
The ending made me think that they were skipping 5 or 6 arcs ahead.

Difference is that Shane died in Issue 5. That whole triangle was resolved in about 2-3 issues.
yeah but in general tv series always expand far more than comics. look at all the animes…jesus they take 1 or 2 comic issues and make them into 10 epsiode long shit. im not shocked…i mean i get why your mad but im just not shocked.
[spoiler=“S2 Ep1”]Yeah the little boy getting shot is very unexpected, but I don’t hate it at all. This show is about survival and what ifs. I’m glad they didn’t decide “Nah we need to keep the kids alive, this has to be happy blah blah.” The boy dying, the whole group is gonna be all dysfunctional now and we will get to see how everyone copes with this. Gonna be tough as fuck on Rick. Moreso than his wife I’d say? He did just give a prayer to JC.
What I thought was going to happen was (I forgot Rick’s best friends name) was going to somehow slip away from Rick and his son and make his get away.[details=Spoiler]

Difference is that we know it’s coming, and there’s too much dialog setting up something a good chunk of the audience already knows. Either Shane dies or he fucks up and sets off something and then dies. They cannot stretch out a triangle for season 3.

The scene with the Herd was a really nice addition imo, not in the book but I really enjoyed it. Norman Reedus is the shit in the show, hunter/ /tracker/ /“changing after the apocalypse” by saving the black dude (I don’t think he and his brother woulda given two shits about that dude slicin his arm up.)
Also andrea is shitty in the show compared to her character in the book, hopefully
going foward
