that’s what I thought. the taste from some of the people on SRK is very questionable and has been this way for a few years now.
I’m just sayin’.
I’ve been turned off from the show after the “vatos help the old” episode. It’s been down hill from there, but yeah, every “fan” of this series has told me the same thing, “the show sucks ass, read the comic instead. it’s 100x better”.
I just hope that season 2 has a serious overhaul and makes the whole season 1 look like just a glitch in the matrix.
Thats exactly what i think will happen, with all of the writers being fired i mean. Hopefully a turn for the better

You guys are trippin big time. The way i see it, Season 1 was a trial run and a very excellent one at that. Sure it wasn’t panel for panel like the comic but again I really wouldn’t want that. The whole season took the tone of the what the comic was all about. At this point, I expect Season 2 to be solid all the way.
There will never be a perfect adaptation of anything ever.
Watchmen is the closest you’ll ever get. But thats a discussion for another thread.
We’re not “trippin” that it’s not a panel for panel adaptation of the comic book, we are upset that it’s a badly written TV show based on a well written comic book.
The writing was genuinely not good. Now maybe this is a problem the comic shares as well, but when people have to talk out loud it gets to be more of a problem. It’s kinda funny the show did so well ratings-wise but the premise carries it.
But i also think it had something to do with the season only being 6 episodes, they just rushed through a lot of shit instead of letting it feel organic.

I really liked the first 2 eps. 3-4-5 were terrible. 6 was ok at best.
You just know Merle is going to come back all pissed off with a hook hand or something. Can’t wait for next season!

Not sure if I like where the TV show ended its first season. The comic is good, but not jaw dropping awesome.
Walking Dead TV show makes me want a WWZ movie/tv show even more. That whole downed female pilot story is just too awesome to not be on film.
I heard Brad Pitt was involved with the WWZ movie.
