Yea I know but why. Why would a bite or scratch(or being dead) infect you but not getting zombie blood in an open wound. I don’t know it is just something that I always thought was stupid about zombie stuff.

this thread is about the TV show and people are going to discuss it as the episode happens, it will end up the whole thread being nothing but spoiler tags. IF someone misses the latest episode DO NOT go into this thread, it is spoiler-city for those who haven’t seen the latest episode. The comic has potential futures for the TV show and can potentially ruin the tv show for people who dont read the comic (like me).
Also, everyone should learn to name their spoilers instead of just doing spoiler warning, just so that we’re clear it’s comic spoilers and not a spoilered large image, or TV show spoilers

it probably does, but Michonne probably didn’t get the zombie guts in her thigh, it spilled all over her chest. Bite or scratch I assume is putting their infectious state in you, they’re rotting corpses walking around. Its not so much “the infection” since every1 is infected, but rather just how diseased and decayed the zombie corpse is that the bite or scratch transfers over the diseased and decaying state, like rabies for lack of a better analogy. Although you dont start to decay, you gain an incredibly strong fever and die from it. then turn, Bite/Scratch doesn’t “speed up” the turning rate, it just kills you and then you happen to turn. The reason it’s such a guranteed way of turning is because nobody knows how to stop the fever. I’m also assuming a “fever” is the way that whatever is in the zombies affects a living being.
I personally always liked the 48 hour rule. New episodes get spoilered within 48 hours of it airing, if you haven’t seen it after 48 hours then it’s on you. But I also wouldn’t come near the thread until I saw the episode anyway.

That is actually not a bad way to look at it especially since they are not going to go into that too much since the show is more about how this situation changes ones humanity.
Speaking of that, rick has a pretty powerful subconscious. The way he was able to deal with that and bring himself back through the phone calls was pretty cool. He was able to confront all of the things that were obviously weighing him down quite a bit. He is seriously one strong man.
Oh yea and freaking carl is just too badass now.

Me coming onto this thread means I want to talk about TWD, not the latest episode or what happened this night, I can and might miss certain episodes and coming on here a few minutes later to talk about the show in general to get a face full of RIP T.Dog was a little annoying.(Seriously, 2 minutes after the show ends on the east coast and I get no spoilers?)
People aren’t using empathy when they’re talking about spoilers, nevermind it could split this website’s base between show and comic, nevermind it’s annoying, people just don’t want the possibility of being spoiled in the future, and I personally don’t want to be spoiled in the present.
So, if I’m going to start respecting other’s feelings by spoilering the comic, can a nigga respect mine by spoilering last night’s episode until the 2 days later?
Also, what about comic arc that are before where they are on the tv show, do we have to spoiler those?

Though I understand where you’re coming from, I don’t think waiting 48 hours to talk about what the thread is intended for is a good solution. This is where personal responsibility comes in. Take the various manga threads, for example. As soon as a chapter comes out, it’s talked about in the thread. The people who haven’t read it yet don’t enter the thread until they’ve read it. The same should apply here.
The people of the anime/manga thread ALWAYS have the common courtesy of spoilers, so your argument is a little invalid.
Also, you’re not waiting 2 days to talk about it, you’re waiting 2 days to talk about it outside of spoiler tags.
