-He was really smart and started screaming to throw Rick off when he escaped
-He was just screaming before he got cornered
The munching sounds may have been a dead body that he might have thrown at them to distract them.
does any of the humans have immunity to the virus? if not, it’s pointless try to survive.
Zombies were probably a bit slow to react, giving him a head start. He was pretty quick so he definitely had a shot if he got at those gates.
That remains to be seen, I thought T-Dog was going to have immunity which would be a plot twist or so. But I guess not.
Whether its pointless or not is an ethics question, the fact that Lori gave birth proved that reproduction and population growth is still possible, albeit just the dead have to have their brain destroyed. If a society where to emerge again, it’s only tidbit would be the fact that you have to destroy the brain of every dead person.
I’d loved to see the first couple days of the original outbreak, but the creators said its not important to the story so we most likely won’t see it in the comic or tv show 
And Rick’s crew is FUCKED. They just lost 2 people, the prison is compromised, they have to protect the baby AND The Governor is just around the corner. Rick’s mind is not gonna be prepared for the incoming shitstorm

Anyway, this episode was absolutely shameless in displaying the “one black man to a group” formula. 
They didn’t even try to sugarcoat it.
To add insult to injury they showed a little black on black crime when T-dogg ver.2 takes out the only other black man and thus the balance is restored.
Oh shit, the governor mentioned his daughter. You know what THAT means.
Wouldn’t it have been more humane to cap Lori in the head first then cut out the baby? Brutal stuff.
