You think that’s crazy, you should see what Woodbury looked like in the comics.
Tea is made from zombies
i mean he didn’t look like that when they met him… he seemed like he could be ok when they met him in the comics too.
Honestly, I think the show needed to be sped up. They wasted sooooo much time during the first half of the second season with that “search for Sophia” crap and the “Shane vs. Rick” storyline during the second half.
shane vs rick was good, but this pace/arc is much more hype
and i like this governor better than the comic book one. yeah more legit like everyone said
edit: id have to re-read walking dead, but i do remember the governor fitting nicely in the books’ setting. still hated his guts hahaha
plz don’t insult Ricky Verona like that.

FUCK YOU, CHELIOS
did you notice she cracked when Andrea was asking about killing her “companions?” it’s real quick. she almost started crying. actually i think she did start crying and they edited it out.
IIRC in the comics
Spoiler
everybody in the town were all jaded/depressed people that didn’t care what kind of person he was because he kept them alive. imo i think this town is similar, but its chipper facade is interesting in comparison.
Yeah I noticed that too. Then she looked pissed off for the rest of the episode. Black women. I’ll tell ya…
Anyone else notice the flashing lights in the prison during the preview?
Wonder if they get power up and running.

In the clip they showed on Talking Dead, someone sounds the alarm causing zombies to start coming. Alarm on = Power.
Zombies actually having a rave.
ah ok that makes a lot more sense. I do like this dynamic where he is trying to shield his people from the grim reality of the situation. Seems like when things inevitably go to shit (it has to be inevitable right?) will be have that much more impact.
ZOMBIE RAVE. OH OHOOHOOHOHOHOH.
Really am enjoying the show now, it’s moving so fast and it’s such a difference from the old show. Neat how they were like “oh, the governor is semi good, OH WAIT NOT”
Needs more zombie daughter.
Complain edit - Yeah those soldiers did suck, they sucked so hard. I didn’t even notice because I was like “well he is going to kill those dudes” Maybe if they had more money they could have lured a bunch of zombies into them and then massacred the lot of them when they were busy fighting the walkers. Oh well!
Evil Glenn is related to one of the guys that my dad works with. He found out that he was going to be in an episode, and everyone was laughing about there being “a second asian guy.” I don’t think he becomes a regular, so either he gets offed or just isn’t shown again. But we’ll see
I’m surprised they’re moving so quickly with The Governor’s plot. Thought the whole reveal would take 2-3 eps.
The actress for Michonne is so perfect for the role it’s almost scary. I love her serious undertones + Michelle Obama arms.
Favorite part of the ep was when The Gov was telling his bullshit story and the Baseball Bat Latino was trying to hide his smile like- “Dis nigga right here…”
lawl
Interesting that there putting the ideal that the zombie might not be as “dead” as we like to think that there might be actually memories and thoughts running through there crazed mind. Which kinda makes me look back to the when shane turned.
Also I wonder whats the point in keeping those heads in particular…
It would be awesome if T-dogg makes it through the entire series, just to spite… well at least the last episode
Has everyone forgot about the father and son back in season 1, every night the zombie mom would come knocking on the front door
The memory “echos” of zombies has always been touched upon since the original “Night of the Living Dead” which I think is pretty cool and gives a little more depth to the zombies.
I think ‘Land of the Dead’ took it a little too far with zombies shooting guns and crap and ‘Return of the Living Dead’… well…it was an entertaining movie.:wonder:
Ah, see I didn’t get into zombies until RE2, so im OG but not super OG.
I always find it super interesting when they go into what makes the zombies work, cures and what would happen if you cured someone that might have died and turned and if there is anything more than crazy zombie rage. Thoughts, and “feelings” of zombies… which I feel like they are leading to, starving a zombie seems to make calm down to the point where they almost seem to have some from of knowledge of there actions. Granted that being the case there should be alot of docile zombies sitting around but meh.
It makes Hershel seem less crazy for hording zombies when he was
Hershel and company were still feeding the zombies so they were still aggressive.
Good point about the zombies eventually becoming docile. When the food runs out you’ll have a bunch of lazy zombies just… sitting all over the place.
I always ran the idea in my head that the person’s essence was locked deep inside the zombie brain and they were fully aware, but had no control of their zombie body’s actions. Could you imagine being trapped inside a walking rotting corpse and being powerless to stop it (yourself) from tearing apart and consuming a victim? Ugh… :wasted:
