Yeah Moustache Prisoner shanked the HELL out of one of the zombies in the first encounter, surprised they didn’t realize it had to be the head earlier, even after Rick told them.
They were just idiots.

i think they were going for accuracy. never in the history of comic books has a random person (an actress, no less) looked so much like a character.
Man I saw that prison a few episodes ago… how come they couldn’t find it?
I feel ashamed for giving up on this show after the first episode of season 2. My my. How things have improved.
How is the episodic video game series? I might cop that collector’s edition.
I was at NYCC and I just missed the Walking Dead panel by a couple people. Got to watch it on the monitors though, Carl IRL is actually pretty coo guy. and it was Norman Reedus (Daryl)'s son’s birthday and he was in the audience so they actually sung happy birthday to him. It was pretty hype. Michonne was there too, she looks pretty decent…outside of her Walking Dead attire of course.
Most people would stick to the main roads, as the main crew did. There’s a reason they didn’t get in that prison in the middle of the time skip.
Plus again, there’s the thing about needing the means to actually take the prison and secure it. Not everyone will have a big group and there’s no guarantee they’re bringing ample weapons to the party either.
And like I said before, Michonne’s actress actually looks pretty decent. But it’s a zombie apocalypse, gotta ugly that shit down, no time for staying pretty when heads need to be lopped off.
Some prisons are actually not that easy to find especially if you don’t know the area. I recently found out that there was a prison only few miles from where I used live tucked into the freakin’ wilderness. I am hopelessly ignorant when it comes to knowing the locations of the local penal facilities since it doesn’t concern me at all and I hope to keep it that way.
Then again, these people had a damn map, so that’s a pretty good question.
