Naruto wall paper project begins !

I decided I wanted to make wallpapers of the rookie 9 from Naruto. Here is my first attempt, team seven, Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, and their Sensei Kakashi.
This is the the 50 % percent resized version.
Next would be team 8, Kiba, Hinata, Shino, and Kurenai.

I forgot Jin’s beads, I also made his outline a little bit too thick. Jin’s also supposed to be like unclicking his sword, I tried to make this clear with perspective, but it looks a tiny bit awkward and probably will confuse people.

THe colors would probably be a lot more smooth/bright/sharp if I didn’t reduce each picture 50%, they’d be too big otherwise.

if you havent seen the whole show i dont wanna give you anymore info than that
but i can see about finding a pic, but they are hard to find apparently
googling “grenadier setsuna” comes up with barely anything so i might have to do some searching for the manga and see if i come up with anything

Thanks for the links Angel, I really need to gather as much reference as possible of women if I am going to be drawing them all the time.
In other news, I finally purchased a tablet. It’s weird, like a super charged mouse on steroids. I like how it came with a painter program. But I’m going to have to get used to drawing with it.
It blew my mind that the painter program came with a pencil “brush”.

I started out with a paint brush and at the very end figured out there was a pencil thing. I need to learn to not press so hard. I’ll probably end up learning more as I screw around with it. It sucks I have to finally start learning how to use photoshop and painter and what not. Curse you Paint Shop Pro for being the beta of the art program world.
Now that I have a tablet, I have all the tools necessary to start doing something creative. Now I just have to figure out how to be creative. Sigh.
