It scaned badly. So I think I am going to trace it tomorrow when the sun is out and do an extra super clean version. That will make me happy.

What do you focus when it comes to drawing, subject-wise? Because your style seems a lot like Japanese animation in terms of the lines when it comes to the cleaner versions, and I remember that you said that you didn’t like that realism stuff that you had to do very much. However, you haven’t said much about what you like to draw, at least when it comes to what little I can remember–I’m pretty sure everyone knew that you liked Roy from FMA.
Subject wise?
Well since I want to write/draw my own graphic novel I tend to draw really cartoony stuff almost 100 percent of the time. It’s not that I don’t like to draw realism, it’s just that that really isn’t my focus. Of course I really do need to start practicing like 4-6 hours everyday, but I just keep putting that off because of how terribly lazy I am.
I need to learn how to convey action/motion/emotion and tell a story proproperly with pictures.
Once I begin, if I ever do, I will draw all sorts of “realistic” stuff to help me get better.
I like drawing all sorts of crap, but since I am trying to get better, I guess trying is what you would call this, I either focus on drawing fanart of comic/anime/manga people or designing and drawing my own characters.
So I hope that answers the question…

I was going to start drawing real life stuff daily, but I’m just not feeling it. I think it’s because I thought I should shade them in completely with the blending and what not.
I think I’m going to pursue the daily real life practice thing still, just no more lead rubbing shading.
