"Nico say “Hello Brock” = me laughing on the ground
Is they any part of Doc’s life that isn’t fucked up? Feel bad for him alot while other times he annoys me. Then he has moments where he says exactly what I’m thinking and love him. So confused about how I feel about him.
Also I think I saw Monarch’s parents our the boat with OG Venture. Interesting…
He’s probably got a lot of fucked up child celebrities mixed into his character. I was hoping to see JJ, he really hasn’t done isht since before the premieraside from give out orders.
Doc is a lot like Archie Bunker, Micheal Scott, Homer Simpson, Everyone in Its Always Sunny or Larry David in Curb your Enthusiasm. They literally can go from highly unlikeable to legitimately likeable and funny in under 5 seconds.
Anyone want Karl the Cheetah and Abomination to appear again?
St Cloud is what nerds wish they could do. Afford all kinds of crazy props and items from movies/games/TV shows. Guy is too funny and a great arch for Billy. Rusty grew up in a shitty life… Its like his dad was nonstop neglecting him.
I don’t know what happened with AquaTeen, but to me it has fallen off considerably. Carl is still funny, he carries the show. Otherwise… meh.
Robot Chicken is still bringing it.
Superjail is a strange, semi-acquired taste. It is weird and I have no plausible reason for liking it… but I do.
Squidbillies is, in a word, awesome. One of my favorites. Granny could carry a whole show by her damn self.
One of the best newcomers is “Your Pretty Face”. Yeah, it’s live-action… but I like it. Bob’s Burgers also has great potential, and is very at-home on AS (didn’t watch it much at all on Fox). Nice addition.
I guess I’ll be the odd man out and say I don’t like St.Cloud. I thoight he was the worst part of the episode and almost ruined alot my enjoyment of the episode.
All he has is pop culture references over and over again. I think he was fine before but having him be the a main character annoyed the hell out of me and not in a good way.
I’d like him better in small doses. The Venture Bros is already one big pop culture reference so I fail to see the point of the character outside some social commentary on the nerd culture as a whole.
I feel what you’re saying. And I agree that St. Cloud is probably at his best as a secondary character. He definitely does not need to be a major player like Hank or Dean.
That being said - his smarmy voice is simply perfect for the character. PERFECT! Spot on. Quizboy’s visceral hatred of him helps a lot, too.
