Ok so how do you guys think the format should be?
I’m thinking this:
-Basics:
Breakdown of the normals, specials, strings etc and their uses and have all the extra info about them here (eg: CH whiffs on crouchers)
-Mixups:
all the mixups, tricks, setups and gimmicks Vega has.
-Matchups:
this is obvious, It’ll just be spoilers for all the characters containing info about how to play that certain matchup.
-Strategy+Tips
just general info and stuff that’ll help people play a better Vega. A couple of strats on how he should play at certain ranges, what his gameplan is, his options in every range, stuff you should avoid doing etc

Well here is the first things to know about vega. Idk how many know this but the invincibility on his ex SHC and BHC are gone. l, m ,and h shc do a wall bounce on counter hit. Its punishable on block depending on the character but not on hit. you can combo off of it but the time is tricky depending on where on the screen you hit. BHC still works against projectiles but you have to do it towards the opponent and the angle evades the projectile just barely. It works everywhere but full screen. Though it does bad damage so there is not much reason to do it outside of a combo unless its a definite ko.
Is there anyway to combo into SHC or Ex SHC?.. it looks like there may be enought time to get an EX SHC in on a jugled opp if close to the corner…
In SF4 it was possible to combo SHC off of 1 anti-air Scarlet Terror hit in the corner. Not useful and probably not practical to do like that in SFxT either, BUT, doing a Tag Cancel into SHC might work.
Yeah…that doesn’t sound practical or useful in SF4…there was actually another not practical or useful way to combo into ex SHC…with your back against the corner cstHP to EX SHC combos…
I’m collecting all the info in the Vega threads atm, should have a nice chunk of stuff to go through later today in the OP.
No supers count as 1 hit in this, you shouldnt be using his Super anyway save the meter for the cross art or whatever that shit’s called (the super with the partner lol), ideally Vega should be first with a character that does mad damage in the back.
