Me and a friend of mine want to visit the HOG over the next weekend. Flights are quite cheap but rooms in London are ridiculously expensive.
I am wondering of someone from the UK Community would introduce us to the local scene and maybe offer a place to sleep.
It doesn’t have to much as long as it is not to far away from the HOG and reachable late at night.
We would like to stay for one or two nights.

well there is an event going down in london next month. but it seems like nobody is really interested. i kinda guess thats why no one can be bothered to set up a tournament. people yap on about how they wanna meet up and get involved but then when there IS an event they just sit there quiet.

UK guy here too, just getting into the whole FG thing more seriously, looking to get myself a stick at the moment and step my game up, I’m based in Essex, so any London tournies aren’t too much of a treck once I’m ready for them.

I am going to be heading to the UK here at the end of February beginning of March time frame and I was wondering where all the local gatherings take place if any??
I will be staying near Lakenheath AFB which is about 1 hour away from London if I’m not mistaken. So if anybody could hit me with some information it will be greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to see what kind of FGC the UK has to offer.

How big is the UK fighting game community? I’m interesting in moving to Europe (US is very difficult to get into) and I guess UK has the biggest community there.
