I live in the southeast UK and I am in dire need of a sparring partner. I only play SSFIV:AE, after 200 hours of messing around and trying to understand what the game is about I thought it time to really step up my game, I bought a fight stick and I’m ready to learn!

Though currently having massive character identity problems, I have dabbled with Balrog, Rufus and Gen.

It’s really depressing to see that the UK scene is so baron, unless by some odd chance we’re all
oblivious to a thriving fighting game community.
It seems that all people are interesting in, in this country is Call of Duty. I didn’t expect the fighting game scene
to be any where near the scale of America or Japans obviously, but from what I’ve gathered from this thread
and the desserted neoempire forums, there really isn’t much of a scene at all in England besides a small one in
London.
This is just another reason for me to possibly move to the states some day.
Milton Keynes or Oxford anyone? I would love to get some offline matches in but currently it seems online is the only way for me to play. Hoping that SFxT becomes big enough to draw a huge amount of new players to the fold.
