The Ultimate Combined Character - aka Third Strike Seth

Just got back from our successful SBO qualifiers (RX and Koshun) and we have been talking about a what if scenario, what moves would make up the ultimate character for this game if he was to have his moves stolen from any character in the cast? It would be like Seth in Third Strike, stealing everyone’s best move with the exception of Gill. Here is what we came up with:

I think you should get rid of the ibuki command dash.

doing lovs for keep away and then getting her command dash instead would suck. It’d be like hahaha im running away running away I’m running away mo-ooviing towards you? fuck.

Makoto’s Command Grab is HCB + K and it is already in.
Yun’s Lunge punch is over Yang’s Mantis Slash because of its long range punish ability.
Ibuki’s Dash is slower but it can pass through. Oro’s backdash is better than Urien’s.

I see, well I agree with everything you said except Yun’s lunge punch. That move is terrible if you try to use it outside of Genei Jin, or without comboing into it. It’s really slow and can be seen from a mile away once you start it up. When have you ever seen it used as a long range punish that wasn’t following a horrible mistake? The only time it would be used as a long range punish is if someone shoryu’d, super’d or did something else really stupid from far away. Yang’s slashes have decent range, they’re often safe on block, and the EX slashes do devastating damage and stun. I don’t see how the lunge punch is better than the slashes in any way.
