Theres a few things in the pipeline going on mans have to wait and see
living in portsmouth, arcade scene is dead. There’s a arcade in the funfair down on the coast but I don’t think they have had a new game in in the last 3 years. Fighters they had was like a tekken tag, SFex2 and SC1 machine, no one plays them and the place is dead other then the occasional tourist. If there are any other arcades I don’t know about them. I’m glad I don’t own an arcade, sad times
yea idont think it will be long before that closes down by the sound of it. yea your right owning a arcade right now over here is going to hurt your pocket.
although i would still find it cool if i had one.

myself and a team of people are coming up with ideas of hosting tournaments in the uk but at the end of the day its upto the people to turn up or not
we are gonna be giving them the chance to choose what they went and if they long it then so be it there will be nothing from it afterwards
so like i said its in the gamers hand for once…
just remember this for a fact in japan u cant gamble for starters so they are not allowed to win prizes at a-cho or superbattle opera or anything in japan
people here cant or will not even get of there backsides unless theres a prize involved so my days to balance that u will have to understand its not easy to please gamers anymore
I hear what you’re saying but I’m sure there are a whole load of uk gamers (especially me)who would just be happy to play some other good players.It might be different in london but there are probably loads of tiny groups of sf players all around the uk who would love to go to any tournament, as long as there were some other decent players.

Well yea i understand what your sayin geting people motavated is hard since they would have too travel. this is why most uk fighters do not travel all the way to london it makes things complaicated.
ive chated to a couple of people that say this like desk said theirs lots of little groups of players around uk not just london dam it! lol.
The only problem i think would have is getting the message across to them meaning advertising.
I know players round my area that dont even know about this site or even lesser ones and people that just dont use the net.
so when you do plan this i think you would have to have some kind of ad cos just telling people on here problay wouldnt be good enuff.

this might seem like a stoopid question jericho but what games do you have in mind. I only really play 3s and cvs2 but I used to be big into vf4evo and I’ll start getting my wolf back into shape if there’s going to be some vf action.
yea im not sure wat jericho has planed game wise desk but i would suggest you do it by interest theirs no point say vf if their is not enuff interest in it ie number of players who want to sign up to play is low this is just an example im not dissing vf for those who like 2 flame.
maybe a certain number of players must be met for the game.

that number of players enterd determines if the game gets played is just an idea.
like i said when the site is up and running its up to the people to decide its as simple as that what they want they get.

if the gamers get what they want and mess it up themselves i wont do anything again i am investing massive amount of cash with other people i have been in talks with people since march 2004 sorting this out and saving up money so i want it to work not just for me but for gamers of past present & future generation in the uk and all over people complain about theres nothing.

Yea we plan to meet up in the nxt 2 weeks as everbodies kinda busy for this week so if you wanna arrange something for then i can tell the others.
Yea we use the PS2 for everthing since kof has moved onto it their anit no real need for a dreamcast.
We play on pads, i know serious gameplayers use joysticks but its rare u go to sumones house and they have joysticks so its better that u learn to play on pads round here.

We still have high levels on pads nothing special but i think we can give u a good match.
The games we play in most 1st are CvS2/kof02/ then HFSF/GG#R/3s im not into 3d myself so i sit out when the others play tekken4. i would say were better on the 1st two i said and old school SF. havent played GG#r enuff to be good myself but 2 of the others guys are pretty good ate it im going 2 put some pratice into that one.
We just kinda got into 3s so you’ll problay kick are asses in that :lol:

Indeed. It has some very, and I mean very, shit games. MvsC1&2 (Damage levels are fucked on 2 though) SC and Cvs2. I only play CvsS2 mind.
