Yeah wilson came down and got banged up. His akuma is rubbish, he plays the same way he did 3 years ago. His mind games are poor, always does dp or hurricane on wake up never mixes it up. His reactions are slow and its just like playing the cpu akuma. His akuma was so crap I just played sean and dominated him. Chef played alex and took out his Elena and akuma so easy it was so funny. But wilsons execution has improved and he can parry pretty good, but overall it was a poor performance and I really thought he would have improved in the last 3 years maybe he was nervous i dont know. He said that the button layout on the back to back machines was different to his hori real arcade stick, and that he had a few problems.
He did beat hkc once and and perfected my ken with elena, but after he perfected me I came back in the last round and almost perfected him back, but he mashed kick and took a few pixels off my bar to stop the perfect. He landed dash kara demon on Raju, But Raju still took him out and got about 15 or 20 win streak.
Vince came down and took out wilsons akuma quite badly, I never seen this but vince said wilsons akuma was so crap, so I played akuma for the first time since absolution and took off vince so fast, I rushed vince down and got 7 perfects on him. Every game was almost a double perfect. I played out of my skin to be fair and did everything on reaction, overhead dp super PERFECT!! perfect perfect perfect…lol Vince said to me that he learned a lot from izu and was doing some fucking crazy shit with makoto some amazing combos that I had never seen before. Confussion air to ground juggle mix ups…not the standard shit you see most japanese makotos do this shit was sick. But ive not seen many videos of 3s, but raju said that he watches all the videos and never seen the stuff vince was doing.
SSmasters came down with wilson only seen him play once he played yun, but I could tell he had not played in ages, he was more interested in DDR and Initial D than 3rd strike. Songro came down and played hugo and did ok he got a few wins and landed standing gigas once or twice and took out my sean. Most of the london players came down apart from TheHY and morning call, almost everybody else was there.
Ohh yeah wilson got beat by a girl…in one round anyway some girl that has started to learn 3rd strike. She is from shanghi and knows all about the 3rd strike tournament scene and she knows daigo and all the top chinese players. She plays a very basic chun li and she took off wilson in a round, when she was about to get beaten I took over to take wilson off the machine.
HKC,Raju and me got about 10+ wins everytime we got on the machine. C IV came late but made up for it by getting a 10+ steak. I had a sick match between C IV, just like daigo in evolution, with no life left I was forsed to red parry into chun lis super in the corner parried all the hits(I just rememberd at the last second that it was 8 hits in the corner) jumped and I missed the jump parry and target combo to win the match.
Nothing else really worth talking about went down. The level of 3s has gone up a lot in the uk. I once said to billykane that I thought doing low forward sa3 on reaction was impossible. But now everybody is doing it standard…apart from wilson and chef lol.

I never really said that wilson’s akuma was crap. Just thought his akuma wasn’t as great as I hoped it would be.
Anyway, I got the highest VS grade of the night against wilson… SS

I quietly watched some of you guys play yesterday as was I was in central London for a bit. Man that was some scary stuff to see. Chunkis that Sean was amazing! You made him look like a Ken beater. In one game I saw you Red parry the last hit of Gouki’s Mesatsu Gou-Hadou into Hp xx Shoryu-Cannon, very nice :badboy: . And you were busting out that short, short super so many times against your opponents it was untrue. Also, I saw Vince (I think it was him, oriental-looking guy who played Makoto and Yun mostly?) parry every hit of a roundhouse lightning leg very late during a jump in with I think it was Makoto, which was amazing to see as well. His Makoto was really good, I am suprised he didn’t go on a big streak with her as he a load of really nice combos into stun going on, and I hadn’t seen some of the things he did before. I only hung round till six, but I saw the blue Urien player (Raju right?) clock up a 15 game streak with some Urien ownage.
All you guys that played were really good. Would loved to have played you but I just plain suck, especially with the ball tops. But at times, watching you guys was like wathcing the Shirube videos. Maybe you guys should record your matches using a live feed one day? Props to pretty much all the players there anyway.
Sidenote: I also saw a kick-ass Guy player on Alpha 3. Don’t know who he is or if he posts here, but he had a 15 match streak with Guy and he reminded me of Daigo when he used Guy the time he went to the States from Japan to take on the Americans.

I saw someone with a camcorder cant remember who it was though, but they were deffo recording matches, bloodriot was recording some joke matches on his phone too lol.

Thats because I was playing on a button format I aint used to at all and the dashing on the side I was playing on was shagged. lol lets fight on ps2 vince and I can use my real arcade hori. 
Honestly though I did not play as well as I can do normally but ah well :).

As for vs chef That match with alex I had won I did a air super fb to finish it but the stick didnt respond so didnt come out and chef just did a stomp after and KO me right in last bit of life of final round he will even admit this. Sorry man its just this is what pissed me off the fact on this cabinet I couldnt play nearly as well as on a hori arcade pro and the dashing was wank on p2 side the stick was getting more and more unresponsive you even admitted it. THis is what bothered me that people were gonna be judgemental of someone playing on a machine they are not used to at all and it had its faults. Not makin excuses just tellin how it was.

My point being that at the end of the day (plz dont take this the wrong way I am just making a point) you lost A LOT more than you won on a machine where everyone was at a disadvantage in some way or another.
But like I said to you at troc, ‘you must have learned something today’ and you said ‘yeah I learned that the button layout is like sc2’(well you said something like that) so this means you should then practice on an sc2 hori stick if thats the disadvantage you feel you had (being used to a different button layout). And then come back and see how you do innit.
Anyway these sorts of discussions can go on forever, I can’t be bothered to post on this thread anymore, laters people.
All id like to add is a majority of people I had a word with all said they had no problem with the layout at all they were completly used to it. I know some like yourself werent too thrilled but a majority of people I spoke to said they were fine with it - even HKC said it was fine to him he was telling me most people are used to it - he was telling me this on way back to the tube. Just a note.
But yeah whatever in spare time ill praccy on SCII stick layout for when im gonna come again so should be able to adapt to it quicker. one other note I actually won quite alot of games before you arrived but I didnt get to play too much upon later on with lots of people flocking in and putting money down. Anyway im gonna pick up a hori scII stick for cheap off ebay and then whenever I come to london again ill have quick praccy on it couple days before so then I can play better on the machine there. It will cater for when I come to london. Of course back here I will play on the my ps2 real arcade pro layout as normal here but when im gonna london I can have a praccy on SCII stick few days before.And it should make things easier all round. Its all good man.

I said earlier im used to hori real pro arcade ps2 sticks but im gonna get a scII one with same layout as that cabinet so am used to it for next time - also Ive never plyed on a cab with buttons that close to stick either the whole thing felt odd so yeah whatever. id have won a hell of alot more then I did if I had been aware of these things before hand since I would have bought a SCII stick just to have quick praccy before this past friday.
