I couldnt make Harrow… how did it go?

someone forget to click on the box and then move? :lovin:

Good news people, in one of my earlier posts i said that Nottingham Namco has been taken over by sunvally and was worried by the fact that sunvally dont have arcades just fruit machines. I went in today and the new area manager has said that they are keeping the cades and they have money to spend on the place (but whever that means new cades or just a refurb i dont know.) The only thing that will change in the name Namco to sunvally.

Hey thats good news!!! Keeps the scene up north alive. Fighters Day 3 was pretty good, had loads of matches in NGBC, XI and CvS2 (especially). Can’t wait till Arcade Day.

I’ll see you in the new year. =).

I’m not from the UK, but I’ve watched a lot of your ranking battles and tourney videos and I want to say you guys are pretty skilled.

Keep your scene strong. I love watching international fighting game scenes outside of Japan.

Hey.

I only got in SF3:3rd Strike last year but i’m really enjoying it a lot. Sadly - now that i live in Oxford i cannot play it much as there are no arcade at all in Oxford D: and playing against the computer with a pad is nothing compared to the arcades. I used to live in Luton where there is one SF3:3S machine in the Namco Station but it was broken pretty badly so i didn’t play on it much, and there was no scene there at all from what i had seen.

But i can get to London really cheap from here so i’m thinking of maybe coming and checking out Casino and/or Funland soon. I’m really annoyed that i only just missed the two recent tournaments. I’m probably not good enough yet to have won much but it would have been great to spectate anyway.

Anyway, maybe i’ll see some of you guys soon. If you see a little guy with long hair using a Akuma then it’s probably me, so say hello because i don’t really know anyone who’s into 3rd Strike and i really want to get into the community.

(Also - slightly off topic - i need to get me an arcade stick to use on my Xbox. I know the general process but can anyone tell me the easiest way to get hold of the reputable japanese buttons/stick/components so that i can make a decent stick that i can use for a decent amount of time. Any advice would be appreciated.)
