my venture in cvs2 today:
i walk up, put my quarter up, AWG is watching me and immediately follows with his own quarter (ensuring that he’ll play me if i win)
i beat some guy that had 5 wins (wtf?, that shouldn’t happen), some asian guy makes fun of an mvc2 guy like me playing cvs2 (wtf again :lame: ) by imitating mashing, and then AWG beats me
… no love at all …

Unfortuantely, the GGXX machine is busted, and the MvC2 controls are funky. Sucks.
I’ll be around the next two years.
As for summer, it’s usually worse for competition from what I’ve seen. Whenever you go, you’ll always run the high risk of wasting your time since the handful of good players come in unpredictably, in between classes for short times. During nighttime, I have no idea who is in there, probably no one the majority of the time. Family fun is a much better option if you can go there.
At least this thread is being temporarily revived by AWG stories. AWG for USAC president next year.
