Damn, I was just getting good at A groove too.
Yesterday, the arcade machines were sitting in the Viewpoint Lounge (that big study lounge over by Tsunami (sushi place), near the ATMs). I’d like to point out that Viewpoint Lounge is lacking in definite doorways and doors. Therefore, the entire floor got locked down at 11pm.

new setup is hella nicer. Place to sit and shit. I’m feelin it, plus the lighting is SPLENDID.
i havent been there yet…do they still have stools?
Where’s the new setup? Is it close to where X-cape was before? Do they still have GGXX and 3s?

On the same floor as X-Cape was. Look/ask for the ATMs and/or Tsunami (sushi restaurant), then follow your ears. GGXX and 3S are still there.
i like the new setup…its so much more relaxed … but i do have 2 problems with it.
- its annoying trying to get change for large bills
- 3s is still right next to ggxx. GGXX is too damn loud…
God I hate that. I also don’t like the glare on the screen in the middle of the day, since the windows are behind 3s.
3s players should hit up x-cape at the same time sometime this week so we can get some real matches in. none of the old school players come around except Will. it’s just vs. comp fighting all day. who is down for some matches on wed @ around 8pm?
Last I played, 2p short kick randomly goes crazy and 1p medium kick doesn’t always work. I’ve been staying away from 3S since.

As much as I like GG, I still find it far too loud. My ears still cry behind 32dB-blocking earplugs. Or maybe that’s just my tinnitus acting up.
It’s funny that the other arcade I frequent, RFC, also has 3S right next to GGXX, but the volume problem is the other way around (3S way too loud over there).
I might swing by wed. at 8. Haven’t been going a lot in between classes recently. Hopefully more peeps will show. Oh yeah, psycho san, if you’re still looking for vids of that Q player, I think it’s Kuroda you’re talking about, I might have some on cd somewhere.
I’ve got a good amount of Kuroda stuff, at least around 10 matches. I’m not on campus and my internet sucks…I’ll try to upload a zip file to yousendit or something later.

hey, thanks for the invite, but i don’t think i’m going to be able to make it. i’m way behind on like 3 projects at once, so i’ve got to do some major work this weekend.
