I gots a whole 15 minutes between when I get off work tonight and when I gotta catch my vanpool down to OC but I’m a fiend so I’ll try to squeeze in a game or two b4 I gotta leave. Anybody know any building shortcuts to get from x-cape to the loading docks by hershey squirt hall?
You could cut through Schoenburg or the Life Sciences building. Schoenburg is probably faster.
Or you could take campus express.
Xcape was on freeplay yesterday for some reason that escapes me, though I didn’t have anyone to play on the GGXX machine.

thongboy–when you make your vids, what format do you capture it at? i’m currently using dazzle150, capturing at high res, mpeg format. also premiere or final cut? and lastly, what compression do you use for audio/video? thanks.
Oh ya, I’m quitting my thankless job in a month. If everything goes out well, my last day will be oct.29 (friday). So after that, no more p-groove at x-cape (some of you are probably cheering to get rid of this parrying bastard). I’m gonna go back to school , CSULA to get a teaching credential, a technology credential, and a masters in education (ETA 2 yrs). I’ll probably be hangin out at CSULA’s The Pit (arcade). It’s small, but they got the fundamentals there, cvs2, mvc2, 3rd. With that, I’m gonna try to finish up my p-groove vid before I’m done with my job.

I QUIT MY JOB TODAY. I WILL NOT BE GOING TO X-CAPE ANYMORE.
except when I’m around the area (which will be very uncommon). Sorry to say guys, but there’ll be one less cvs2 player there. Damn, I just met a few new people there too. Nice to meet you ZenFire, but see ya. haha. I gave a one month notice at work yesterday. Today, I asked to use my sick days for thurs and fri (I’ve been really coughing…some might’ve noticed at xcape). Well, my boss said no. So I said, screw this, I’m Rick James Biatch, and gave a 2 weeks notice instead. Then my boss says, “I’m very dissapointed. Let me just tell you this, if you ever get a job again, Don’t Use Us As A Reference!” That’s when I went to xcape, and asked seamuskc to help me pack my stuff in my car. I took my crazy long lunch break, went back to work and said…“bye.” And that was it. hehe. I’ll be back at UCLA for a few days here and there to pick up final pay checks, getting transcripts, and letter of recs from previous employers. But after that, I’ll go from bruin to eagle (Cal State LA). They have an arcade called The Pitt there. Cvs2, mvc2, 3rd. Hit me up when you guys are around.
I’ll be at UCLA this friday to meet up with a friend for a copy of Final Cut Pro–now I can edit my P-groove video!!! Anyone wanna meet up that day? I can practically be at x-cape the whole time there, hahahahahaha. I’ll bring my lap top and work in Kerkoff if xcape is dead for a while. But I’ll definetely be around during noon/lunch time and after work hours (after 5pm). Oh ya, as for my P-groove video (release date could be before the end of the month…hopefully), I’m starting to compile music to use. If anyone’s feeling generous, I’m open to taking donations for jam pack mp3 music of all sorts. Or I’ll just rip 'em on my lap top on the spot if anyone has cd binders. :pleased:
