Whats the expected turn out for Super and TvC? I might drive up for this.
Ur looking at most likely 20-30 people for super. Don’t know about tvc since this is the first time running It. I know some people around milwaukee play it so I’d say 5 at least
last time i believe ssf4 turnout was 22ppl. also from i heard there were some ppl who didn’t make it. not sure if those ppl r plannin on coming to this one, but there were ppl from all around wi that made the trip there.
if the same numbers come again, i know 2 more others who are coming too. so if everything goes well u can add 2 to the original numbers. my other friend whos got to go to his friends wedding would b there too. but hopefully nex time.
also, how come Eric (Organous) don’t come to these events? anyone knows how to contact him should tell him to get out there. i mean he wants to get a scene going in milw right?
yuhp munny and va are right. we got anywhere from 20 to 30 at the last two just for SF4. 10 for tekken. I wouldn’t expect much as far as TvC goes, and I think at 5 bux I wouldn’t expect much for HDR. But yeah if you came that would be awesome, and also it’s much closer than going all the way to LaCrosse. Also the best part of this tourney is that you can drink and eat there, so instead of having to pay a venue fee like most tourneys, you can use that money to get beer instead
oh yeah i’m not sure how soloist feels about this but I would love to see a few more setups at this event. It doesn’t have to be the double screens like we’ve been using but I’m sure we can get some extra space in there for a few more tvs to get things done quicker and have more casuals.
I second you on that Dan. I think we definitely need 1 or 2 more setups.
more set ups are good to make things go fast. but i like how its less too cuz u get to watch the matches and don’t get to miss much too. but i know we can just squeeze it down to 2 towards finals but yeah…
not to complain or whatever but jus put my opinion sayin its not that bad as it seems.

James - I really hope you can make it up to this, there are a few decent players in the area and people are pushing to get better so it’ll be good to get someone up here who really knows their shit.

Foot, you still need me to bring my rig? I don’t think I can bring a TV or monitor but I at least got another 360 and copies of damn near every game we’d want to play.
Also, I don’t know about this tourney because it’s kind of short notice but I heard talk of interest in playing some Tetris Attack? My brother has a working SNES and a copy of the game, we used to play such intense matches it would actually lag the cartridge. I could probably talk him into bringing the setup for a future tourney for some fun casuals and, if there’s interest, a REAL MAN’S TOURNAMENT GAME.
Yeah the extra 360 would be a great help.
Cool. Hmong Mafia told me about this tournament. I didnt know there was one until i checked on here. Not sure if we’re gonna make it this time. (Hmong ppl who were there last time who wasnt munny lol) We’d have to come from oshkosh. Foot, u ever thought about wisconsin only online tournaments or is that too farfetch of an idea?
once again, i’ll be there around noonish for casuals before i have to go to work. yea i know it sux. i can’t enjoy the beatings. but i hope it’ll be hyped!
