its on supercade so far.
SF1 is the most balanced SF of all time. All matchups are 5-5
Here, I’ll simplify it for you troglodytes who have no respect for any playstyle that isn’t rush down because you’re scrubs.
If there were a fighting game where rush down somehow was not viable at all, would it be a good game?
Don’t say yes because you’d just be lying to yourself and everyone else on these boards.
Wont be in until Xenforo 1.1, sadly.
The fatal flaw in your trolleriffic argument, compadre, is assuming those that enjoy a game focused on rushdown can’t also enjoy/appreciate a game that has a strong zoning presence.
even worse, is that he is implying that there is only rushdown on the new games
basically because his an idiot incapable to see the zoning and spacing game on those games that he loathes so much because they are beyond his limited ability of understanding
Get on GGPO and we can play some CE or Hyper if you want.
Nope. It has to do with the realization of that the absence of a playstyle makes a bad game and why.
You didn’t answer the question.
I can see your point… Maybe that’s why capcom didn’t let Anakaris pushblock.
Let’s play then, I’m quite interested.
One can argue that a fighter needs strong zoners in order to be the most “complete” fighting game experience, yes. But lacking this does not preclude a game being competitive or balanced. And that’s what we’re discussing in this thread, BALANCE.
I think he’s afraid of heights.
Using the same logic as Mirc couldn’t you say for example that SF2 sucks because it doesn’t have air-dashing and thus contains no air to air footsies.
This is pretty much the same as saying VS sucks because it has no zoning (even though it actually does).
Not really a game I play regularly, but Gundam Wing Endless Duel has got to be in top 5 in terms of balance. Epyon and Sheng Long are top tier (Epyon being more so) but the rest of the cast is quite even with each other.
Your joking right? Troll post?
Balance doesn’t mean shit. It’s all about the skill of the players.
Scrubquotes worthy
How so?
Because balance means a lot.
If what you said was true, then MvC2 would have servbots and rolls winning tournaments.
If a game is unbalanced to the point of which you can’t play lower tier characters almost at all, than balance will influence what character you pick… Kuroda was good with Q in 3rd strike, but didn’t win SBO until he switched. Obviously he is a skilled player, a very skilled player, but balance still influenced his decision at some point.
We don’t do that TIERS R4 QUEERS shit here.
oh ok
Then I’ll say that the original Street Fighter is the most balanced.
Sometimes you just need to check your ports and it might be your router acting funky. There are some people I can play perfectly on the west coast (I’m east) while I can’t seem to connect to people who I presume are in my state.
Believe it or not, there are a decent amount of players like me who come and go in that room. We don’t play constantly and are learning the game but manage just to have some matches for fun. I’ve fought a decent amount of players around my level and never had anyone really be negative or salty. Even when there are higher level players in the room I still challenge them and try to have fun with it. I literally went on a 20 game losing streak and still had laughs with my opponent once. Even if you’re new you still have people who are willing to help you. I remember my first time I entered the vsav room, I randomly challenged shoultza and died pretty free. First thing he did was try to teach me about how to advance guard in the game.
edit: oh crap, I thought I was on the last page. Disregard this post.
