I see someone actually GETS the way this game is meant to be played lol. Good job on the explanation naughty zeut! I figured that out myself shortly after playing the game the day after i bought it, it’s weird how quickly i’m adapting to the engine of the game and all. can’t wait to see how well i do this weekend.
Jason you need to share some of your secret rolento tech with me lol. I know a good deal with him but i’m sure you have some info on him that i probably don’t know yet and since i don’t have an xbox we can’t play online so this is the second best thing right now, so share with me you greedy old man! lol
Josh bring your black ass over so we can play some sfxt! I have some free time right now so come over and bring that xbox stick while you at it, i’m gonna need it for this weekend.
ROFL, I am sure it is nothing special that you would not already know…maybe pole setups to crossups or the basic 3 hit corner character not meter dependent stuff, anti-airs; etc, I mean, he is pretty straightforward no secrets…same as Alpha 3 cept in this game no reversal = jabs own to low mk, lol
Lol that’s basically how I play him. I got for a lot of pole mixups/crossups and jab pressure and as.soon as I land that one jab, well… Hit confirm into a nasty kazuya combo lol. I love rolento in this version. I must admit, besides rolento and rufus and poison for casual games I don’t care much for the sf cast in this game. I enjoy the tekken cast much more as they take better advantage of the engine, I can tell capcom designed this engine around the tekken cast as opposed to the sf cast since to me they stand out more in this game than the sf characters do. Can’t wait for saturday! Tag team ftw!!!
lol playing Kaz against people who like to DP on wake up is LMFAO just starting wave dashing at them then watch them fly up in the air like a jack ass for a free punish
Also this is probably common knowledge but if you charge up your special to the flash and dash out, whatever you hit with next will be a counter hit. Helps if a trial starts with a difficult link. Like Hwoarang’s 20.
And the Rock Band hub should work as long as it uses its own power source. In fact, any run of the mill powered usb hub SHOULD work.
Sooooo, I was screwing around in training mode trying to find some stupid cross up/ near unblockable stuff and found out that that doesnt really happen in this game. I did cr.mk to Hwoarangs Hunting Hawk (tatsu like move, last hit hits overhead) I tag cancel on the first hit to raven then immediately teleport to the other side and throw a cr.lk. In order to block all that, all I had to do was hold one direction… The game actually made me duck after the block frames of the last Hunting Hawk finished.
Some sticks have issues being used through hubs, even when they are powered. I’ll compile a list eventually since I have about one of each type of commonly used stick/board for each system, lol.
BGs to Boomcube on SFxT. How you gonna rape me like that when I only know Hugo and have no secondary? lol Good stuff
After seeing Pat’s Rufus, I might give that fatass a second chance. Those combos seemed pretty straightforward, and the corner ones were stupidly damaging. Also, divekick pressure is lol.
