The reason why I’d put him low is his comparable mobility in this game. Look at characters like Iori and Kyo and other characters. They can do that amount of damage that he does but the able to hit you with crazy mixups and and insant overheads and the like but still be able to hit just as hard. Again not saying Maxima is bad, what I said before is a joke, but look at the character list and decide who seems better than the others, by default he’s just lower. I just can’t see many characters being much worse than him. Again, this does not mean he’s bad, it means that he’s not as good as most of the other characters though.

I think Josh has finally figured out what he wants to do with his stick. He has decided to go back to his original idea of an all black extended top plexi and black bottom plexi with white ball top and buttons. My question is do I go with the the 1/8" plexi replacemet or the 1/16" plexi cover? Why choose one over the other?

1/8" will replace the top metal panel of the TE altogether.
1/16" plexi cover does just that, covers the metal panel. You’ll just need to peel off the stock art laminate first.
In my opinion, the only real benefit to the replacement plexi is the option to design a custom button layout other than the Vewlix-inspired stock TE layout.

This is the extended top for the TE, you can pick black under the color options about halfway down the page. As you can see a lot of cut options are available as well. 1/16 appears to be the only option available for black, and for the top panel.

Yeah I agree with you. I just told Josh a few minutes ago that I think the cover would be fine. He is not interested in changing the button layout.
Thanks Andrew! That is where I was looking at getting them. I want to have Ragingraven etched on the bottom plexi (he doesn’t want it on the top plexi) but I don’t see where you type in the text for optional custom etching. Do you know where to do that? I see where there are boxes for text in either the left or right corners for the top plexi but not on the bottom plexi.
By the way I watched you and Josh playing earlier for a little while.
If you could call it that lol. More like he was playing, and I was fumbling my hands all over the stick expecting something good to happen… it didn’t.
And I think you just need to get your own image made of the text and select small or large image etch, depending on how big you want it.
