I think the Bryan shotgun thing is his normal appearance. He has the shotgun in pretty much every part he shows up in. I think it’s probably just a quick juggle shot like Devil Jin’s u+1+2.
My theory on the graphics is that they just didn’t want to waste time redesigning every single character. At 1:56 it says it will have the greatest number of characters in series history. I don’t think they could do that if they tried to redraw 34+ characters AND add customizations. Technically they’d qualify that statement if they just kept everyone from DR and added Leo and Zafina, but nonetheless I think there will be more new characters. Maybe even possibly some of the ones that people have been asking for.
You know, I said that in the other thread and they tried to pull the whole he was born in canada defense. The way I figure, Tyson was the champion at the time->Mike Bison. Lewis was the champion at the time->Dudley.
Anyways, to not thread jack… Leo’s a chick now?! I also don’t think they’ll get rid of any characters since most of the time they just bring them back. They should know by now we don’t care about the story. Hell, they should bring the ogres back.
Anyone else finds it funny that Tekken and VF are almost merging at this point?
I mean three of the four latest VF characters definately look like they could have come out of Tekken’s cast. And Tekken’s last two releases have limited their new characters to two and recently started mirroring VF in other respects.
well vf people helped on tekken 5 so its kinda like ya they are defintly merging…can we expect a crossover game in the future? tekken vs vf and vf vs tekken?
If I see any more discussion about Mortal Kombat I’m fucking out of here. Nobody fucking likes that game and will be damned if they copy that piece of shit. Darrius is fucking nothing. If Raven’s based off of anything it’s Blade (Wesley Snipes). And even Namco said his resemblance to Blade was more of an accident.

They should start adding tag as an option just for fun in the games from now on anyway. I mean 3D games have often made “Team battle” a staple of the offerings for the console version, so why not just throw tag in there too.

Yeah…for the people complaining about the lack of new characters…once Tekken 6 Light Rejuvination comes out there’ll be like 3 or 4 more new characters.
