They said that Devil Jin, Kazuya, Bob and Anna are a clear cut above the rest of the characters. Bob and Anna are eaiser to utilize and you can gain quicker results with those two. However Devil Jin and Kazuya require a lvl of trickery…or imo, I’m pretty sure they mean, that the Mishima’s require effort. Basically in the right hands, DJ and Kazuya are easily the two best characters, with Bob and Anna close to them.
There was some other statements that Bryan is placed where he’s at because he becomes less effective without walls, however if there’s walls, then Bryan is considered to be on par with Bob or Anna.
Ling I heard just doesn’t do enough damage off of her juggles as everyone else, which is why she’s so low down in the tier listing, while someone like Jack has alot of attacks now involve greater risk, and his SS is supposedly really shitty.
Ganny is considered the worst of them, as to how, and why, I have absolutely no clue.
Biggest Shocker: Lei being placed in the Top 5! :lol: , honestly, it’s about time, he hasn’t been very good since T3, 2 straight games of him being near the bottom have finally paid off.
For me, personally, I’m feeling slightly better that Jin is placed in a decent spot.

I wouldn’t worry about that too much. I don’t think Ganny will be low for long after watching some vids of him.
What I’m concerned about is Roger above Feng, Paul, and especially Yoshi. Yoshi is a BEAST.
This is based on the old build anyway and only a few months of play, so take it with a grain of salt.
EDIT: International version is out in Korea. A whole lot of nerfs were made, but we don’t know if the wall/bound/rage issues have been nerfed yet.

Anna surpassed Nina? not so great. I kinda wish for eddy/christie to have completely different moves…but wait a nanosecond. If they’re the same (moves), why are they at different tiers?

Well I don’t know about Eddy being 20 points better or anything (WTF is this point system anyway), but Eddy has usually been better in the past games because he has longer legs than Christie. Besides that, they have different basic throws and some combos are easier to do depending on which character you are using. I don’t know any specifics though.
Nancy doesn’t seem like he/she is that hard. It looks more like you just have to turtle and sidestep often. Was that laser in the glass move an instant death move? Considering the guy was playing pretty unsafe and shitty, he still did manage to take off 1/3 of his/her life so I don’t see why playing a little more careful would make it hard to accomplish. The movies seem very telegraphed. Then again, I’m sure there is a bunch more bag of tricks you have to go through later in the fight.
Lei was already considered a beast back in DR by the Japanese. But based off of those early T6 vids, he’s still as beastly as usual…
Anna has surpassed Nina back in DR already. Actually, I think she passed her in 5.1 due to how bad Nina was nerfed in that game (i.e. df+1,2 = negative frames for Nina, frame advantage for Anna wtf? :looney:)…
And Eddy/Christie may have the same moves, but apparently they have different properties, like some moves one of the two have may cause B! during combos while with the other character that very same move won’t cause B!

That really pisses me off too, however, I’m hoping that Jin was just intentionally acting in such a way to destroy the Zaibatsu from within or something like that. Simply because one Kazuya is already enough, we do not need father and son doing the samething.
So here’s hoping Jin is still the prodigal son, he was supposed to be. TGS is right about Eddy/Christie, both may share many of the similar moves, however Eddy’s just simply has better properties out of them overall then Christie which is the result of where they are placed where they are at.
Also, from an earlier post of the Tier-Listing, the top characters, had a factor into their ranking is supposedly because they can dish out huge amounts of damage off of their lows. So I’m assuming that Low’s which can lead to juggles and possibly bound and worst by their statement of this.
However, this game once global, we’ll have a better understanding of the tier-listing when we’ve got at least a few months worth of cracking into it. Remember back in T4, it was considered that Lee/Bryan/Paul where considered for the most part Top-Tier at the earliest points of T4, however we all know what happened there 
Tier’s will change for sure, however in my honest opinion, I don’t see Devil Jin or Kazuya dropping too far down the tier listing anytime soon.
Wow, everything I’ve heard about has led to Asuka being really good and to see her 2nd from last is a surprise. Then again, i gotta play it to really understand, but from what I’ve seen, there’s really nothing thats so distictive about her being bad that i can see, especially with such high damage from like, wierd things like b+3, lol.

I honestly feel that the placement is complete bullocks, although it may be possible that as of recently she’s not played that often in Japan. It seems that in T6 for a character to be placed high in these early tier lists you need to have a good fast punisher as well as a juggling low. Unfortunately Asuka doesn’t really have either of these things. However due to what she does have there is no way possible for her to be ranked that low.

I think it’s too early to be taking a tier list seriously…wait a year and a half or something…then we’ll see who’s top.

I don’t wanna tier whore either but what’s the rough estimate on the character standinsg? I use Lei,Law,Lee and Yoshi so I’m hoping there all top or something lol.
