Marduk is pretty much the same. IMO, his jail step (1,2,VTS, CNCL,1,2 etc) is more difficult to time. That could just be because of stiff buttons.
His tackle seems easier to break than DR. About the same as T5.2
His D+1 now knocks down on counter hit. I dont like it, because I dont know any wake up game options marduk has when the opponent is in play dead position.
His D+3, 1,1 is a decent low string. His d/f 4, 1 is awesome though.
His mount options are exactly the same. sigh Was hoping for even more fleshing out of his ground game. Same old Marduk. Still a beast.
I am not so impressed with this one. I think T5DR was a bigger jump IMO. This game just has a really nice graphics upgrade.
It’s Tekken, and it’s GOOD Tekken, so I will still play. Im torn on the Nitsu thing, and the bounce system and wall changes are screaming for abuse. The shit Ive seen Kaz do.:wow:
I use Eddie, Christie, Hwoarang, and Bruce. Bruce has gone through the most changes. His d/f, 1,2 is gone. GONE. Replaced with his DR 1+4,1_4. He has more options from that too, he can change the last low to mids if he wants. I dont know how good it is considering Kazuya raped me with the bounce. Bruce’s stance looks mad niggerish now.

It’s bright as day that Law looks too awesome (and I’m all over that “Dragon: The Bruce Lee story” outfit) but I wonder how he’ll be gameplay wise. Seems like he plays mostly the same with some new pokes to work with (that Jeet Kune Do low kick to high kick looks very useful) which is good. But that could also be because the game hasn’t been discovered yet.
I’m curious as to what it’ll become. It’s obvious that the rage and bounce systems are sick and it’s also obvious that the game is very new. I hope it survives that. I certainly want this game to be good, that’s for sure.

If Bruce is going to be top then you’re gonna need a tier above that to put people like Bob and Miguel in. Dude’s are fucking serious.
I’m sure Namco will continually revise Tekken 6 till one of the Mishima’s are top tier.

Jin’s been out of his mind since Tekken 3 so theres no way in hell you didnt see this coming.
But he will die like Kazuya did in tekken 2, Jin will have an internal struggle between his good and bad side, and in the final fight he will die Just as Kazuya did vs Heihachi.
That will be his downfall.
It’s good to see Tekken 6 in all it’s glory. And I’m in anticipation for when I can finally get my hands on it. Shouts to SK and StridaJin for uppin vids for T6. The intro really sets the stage for what’s happening. Also I’m really starting to learn T6’s intracies from them so thanks for that. And that Azazel is Night Terror’s Great Grandson. The only thing left is to get all the story flushed out so I figure out what the hell is happening storywise.
Any word on endings yet? or do we have to wait till console?

I wished that in T6, they would’ve given Jin back his original LS back, and the left hook back from T4 in place for the cd+1 which isn’t all that great. 2,4 imo should make a return, it wasn’t ridiculous to start with…makes no sense why they would remove that from going into 5.1 and DR.
However, Jin doesn’t look too bad in T6 though, he seems to “look” better judging by the videos. I remember when T6 beta’s first came out and some peeps who played Jin where saying that he was waay too weak and needed to be buffed up…maybe Namco did that :wgrin:.
Also, Law looks fun as hell to play now, I really like his new Bruce Lee like stance, and jabs, he might become a character that I might have to start picking up more seriously now when T6 comes out.
