tranceaddict.com for all your edm needs. ill warn you buch of circle jerking goes on there.

www.mpiii.com is the best electronic music site out there. It takes a while to get used to it’s system. While there are thousands of tracks and mixes that you can download, you have to earn the right to download them. They have a point system. The more you contribute, the more points you get which means the more you can download tracks and mixes. It isn’t hard to earn points though (submit a mix, post in the forums, post noteworthy news), things like that.

Ken Ishiii

I love his stuff. I really regret not dancing to his music when he was in Detroit. I saw him but my friends wanted to keep moving. I’m sorry Ken…

The album that this is from, Future In Light, was my first Ken Ishii album and pretty much defined my ENTIRE summer. I listened to it so many times. Like you guys have no idea how much I loved this album.

I’m still listening to his stuff today. He’s just done so much and like any good DJ there are layers to his work that you may only discover after repeat listenings in the middle of the night or on a crisp fall afternoon. Dig up the song Cubitos de Hielo. This song inspired a single idea that will probably never go away. God Bless Ishii!!!

Have any of you people been to any massives? I’ve been to EDC, TAO, Monster Massive, and Nocturnal Festival all in the Los Angeles area. I NEED to go to DEMF, Ultra Music Festival, Sensation, and Awakenings. Must need money.

The Ghost in the Shell Megatech Body Corp. soundtrack album to the Playstation One game is ill as hell. Like that music was/is crucial. It almost makes the game. You hear some bad ass shit like that while you are sliding around in a Fuchikoma launching missiles and blowing up bosses while hanging on a ceiling. Pure mother fucking win.

Zulu I have not. I wish that I were in my early thirties now or something. Ya know, so I’d be old enough to have gone to all those festivals and raves and what not. When the music was pouring out. I always knew that I loved electronic music but I didn’t know hit had a name, I didn’t know that it was really being made, my siblings only listened to hip hop and r&b and all the kids in school were the same (I’m talking elementary and middle school). All I had was video game music like Streets of Rage and Sonic. I didn’t even know that I was seeking it out but I was.

Not until highschool and the internet did I find electronic dance music for real. I remember leaving the radio going on the local stations that would go to the clubs at night. I fell in love with . Man I forgot how fast this version was.

I’d cry a million tears if I ever lost my music collection. Digital or CD.

Do you just so happen to have Metal Blue America?

Oh…and the greatest resource for electronica music ever created.

Speedcore = epic fail. :tdown:

^^^ Word. That site taught me so much. Yeah speedcore is yeah… yeah. DETROIT BITCHES!

Omg I don’t. Wtf? Consider me placing an order for that after I get paid next weekend.

Did you get all your Ken Ishii from the big torrent?

(listening to his set at Fuse In from years back)

My earliest memory with techno came with playing Ridge Racer: Revolution. The music on that game kicked so much ass. Then I heard ‘Children’ by Robert Miles. That song is a fucking gateway drug into electronica. Then 97 rolled around and there was MTV’s Amp’d. Came on at like 3 am on a Saturday morning but there I was introduced to Roni Size, Bjork, Jeff Mills, all the good stuff. Then in 1998-2002, KIIS FM in LA would play non stop trance from like 9 pm until 5 am. Oh man those were the days.

whats the name of that tune that had some chick yelling “Gorrriiiielllllllllaaaaaa” in the background?

I actually have three albums from him in CD form: Jelly Tones(re-release), Future In The Light, and Stretch.
