I’m so looking forward to see you recycle that lame ass excuse next time when your cammy meets my baby-fei. “fei/balrog/guile/(insert your characters here) is a bad match-up for cammy,” groans NOBODY.
GGs everyone. As usual thx Brian Sara for running.
Got my EVO monitor today! Loving this thing! I’ll bring it out tomorrow. Probably going to bring a PS3 along for a “legitimate” EVO station, haha. Definitely buying another one soon so I don’t have to keep unhooking this one from my PC.
Saturday, September 3rd around 3pm, I’ll be hosting Marvel and AE. Everyone who I have on my facebook will get an official invite. I have 2 Xbox’s and 4 TV’s. So i will need 2 people to bring their Xbox. Peter G and Bob, I’m looking at you two…
Also, if you have a wife/girlfriend, they are welcome also. I DO NOT want a sausage fest. The pool will be open, and I will allow folks to chill in my downstairs living room to watch TV or play music.
I have no clue if there is a conflict with another tourney that Saturday. Please advise.
What’s funny is, after the match, everyone would ask me what happened, as if to get some salty response or lame excuse from me. My response was ‘nothing, he just beat me’. Not once did I mention it was a bad matchup for Akuma or anything. Actually, Cammy vs. Guile, Cammy vs. Fei, Guile vs. Fei, and Fei vs. Akuma are all pretty even. You beat me because you beat me. Matchup was pretty straight up. But I know how to use Cammy better than I do Akuma.
You had a good win, my man. I told you that when we were face to face. I just beat you when it mattered more. When elimination was on the line. When Grand Finals were up for grabs. Better luck next time…
edit: so I just got off of work, and since I didn’t get to finish my thought, being that I was on my phone, and now I’m on a computer at work, I decided to add on.
…I think it’s funny that you say how I lose because of the matchup, when you didn’t even play your main against me. Tiers have characters listed against other characters for a reason. It’s not just bs. Most of the time when Cammy has a bad matchup (typically against defensive characters), it’s because she can’t get in on them. Having a disadvantage in a matchup doesn’t just mean you have to work harder. It means you have to the be the one taking risks if the other person is playing the matchup correctly. Guile vs. Cammy is in Guile’s favor, which is why I try to force my way in. When I beat your Guile with Cammy, which is what **ALWAYS **happens, it’s because I’m the one taking risks and forcing you to let me in. But that’s all tiers really are. It’s a description of how risky a character has to be to win, assuming the talent is level.
Let’s make casuals today interesting. MM me. FT5 for $10.
Also, anyone read up on the 3rd Strike Online? Anyone think they’ll use the new mode where combos and links are supposedly easier? Just wondering…
