I, for one, am not a huge fan of updates. Especially since it’s so easy for CapCom to not complete a game, but release it anyway then not even a year later re-release it and even when they did it, it was for the arcade (home releases came later). It’d be easier for the consumers to have it as DLC or have it cheaper.
Fuck buying the game, I’ll wait until it gets on a disc with the only art work is the sharpie pen labeling.

One thing I’m glad about is the idea that Magneto could be blockable. I know Wolverine has his bs, but Mags has pressure that is hardest to block. Every time I block his high-low press, I just feel relieved and lucky. Not good or reactive.

I never deserve my jump-ins with Mags because of how dumb air-dash L is, have fun blocking both high and low in the same few frames, plus the mixup afterwards. The air-to-ground dash being slower will hopefully stop that, but he still has so many ways in he didn’t really need it to begin with.

Man some of you dudes should get mtgo just because it has the best formats that barely exist or can’t exist irl… pauper (commons only) and momir basic. I’ve been playing pauper on there a bit lately, there’s several free tournaments each week that actually give out prizes for winning, and it costs like $1 to make a deck. And pretty much every deck archetype is there and viable

Down south a ways we have casuals at Livingston’s Amusement Center in Sarasota every wednesday night from 6 to 11pm. Located at 5947 Clark Center Ave, Sarasota, FL 34238
Every 3rd Sunday of the month is St. Pete Sunday Showdown tournament at Café Alma. $5 door fee, tourneys are usually AE, MVC3 and a random arcade game.
