Oh really…lol…I can feel the facetiousness in your post as I read it…thats fine…but I’ve been playing fighting games since Karate champ and Yie ar kung fu…I can say…that there is not a lot of fighing games I have not played…you could call me a fighting game connoisseur…if you will…Im very picky…and most of the shit thats comming out right now is pretty fucking garbage…just because its a “New 2d fighting game” dont mean it good…lol
MvC3 is watered down trash…the should call that shit Guilty Gear 3…and its broken…For example, if Ammy does 5M then 6HHHHH etc. The only way to get out of the blockstring is to advance guard the last 6H. However, if you do that, then they’ll use someone like Hagger, Hsien-Ko, Dante, ChunLi, anyone who can come out quickly and keep people in blockstun, and just repeat the pressure, using a mixup. You can’t use a beam super cause you’ll just get hit, and so the only way to deal with it is to do a Level 3 DP motion in a few frames. They bit Guilty Gear style but forgot to put in a burst…smh
SF4 is just lame…when you land hits it feels like rubber…
and let me not get started with MK9…LMFAO…I literally wouldnt take a free copy if someone gave it to me…but have fun with your “babalities”

but in all honesty I can probably write a thesis about MvC3 what they did right and what they did(or doing) wrong, comparing it to Marvel 2 (IMHO the most perfect fighting game) a lot of it has to do with the way they approach new games nowadays. I’m sure no one wants to read that.
What do you play “competitively” ? I need some new Supreme and Diamond Supply Co swag…I will drain you…besides if you play SF4 you should be able to play Alpha 3, 3rd Strike, or even KOF 98…oh and your “DeLorean” reference is kinda corny…people are playing 90s fighting games as I type this…

What: Casuals in any and all fighting games people want to play. SSF4, MvC3, and MK9 are pretty much guaranteed to be up all the time every time, additional setups will be whatever people are interested in playing, be it BB, older ps2 games, or whatever. We have mostly 360s, but should have at least one PS3 each week, possibly more.
When: Every wednesday, roughly 6:00 to 11:00pm. Venue is open til 2:00 am
