With KoF XIII coming out after Marvel now I think it’s a definite I won’t be touching that game…maybe when it’s available for cheap and everyone knows all the changes/good characters.

what the hell are you talking about? the two characters play nothing alike on the player or character end. Zero is a rush down oriented character that relys on teleport mixups and a ridiculous jump C for crossup mixups. Cody uses frame traps and footies to pressure the opponent and uses zonk for punishes. Zero uses busters almost like a disjointed poke that is completely safe and he can just throw out left and right. zero isn’t really frame trappy as he just has a really fuckin good projectile that you can combo into from full screen. Tell me what on earth you’re talking about some “big picture” cause im not seeing it, I guess they both have blond hair and some attitude and issues with authority but taking the farthest step back about 5 miles -> thataway, I can’t see how cody and zero play similarly at all… and I’ve played both.

I’m saying that one of the facets of playing Cozerody is keeping a button held down to keep options open while sacrificing as few as possible. Those charge specials completely shut down your opponent’s options at certain ranges. They both have good normals for their respective games. (If Cody’s full Ultra 2 connected on dust hits they’d both have really good long range punishes as well)

As someone who plays Cody, I’m used to needing to keep a button pressed for my options, I feel this would translate along with my Dante BS mixups really well to Zero.
