Iāve been watching the original japanese Zyu rangers (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and itās really great but it has given me an itch of questions that i would just love to ask and get answered.
This is the question. What is it with Americans and ripping off/white washing Asian made franchises? Do any of you Americans feel the shame that you canāt be talented enough to think for yourselves, that you are that low that you need to have a white strong cast, and above all make your children retarded by retarding down themes for them? I mean, America could not even make a decent looking shield for the Dragon Ranger, if you guys recall the 1st power ranger season, there were footages of the Dragon Ranger wearing a really cool looking shield but when it came to american original scenes, his shield looked like shit paper. Is that hard for Americans to make the shield like the jap version? Why also change the mythos that much? I get it that this show would not be a hit in the us if it was all asians instead of whites but why not reenact some episodes instead of making a retarded version of it?
