You’re trippin. Gokaiger was a damn good tribute season. Koryugers is just a back to basics approach for Sentai especially after Go-Busters.

I thought it was good during the final 10 episodes. Action was cool and the mechs were also cool. Felt more like a rider series than a sentai though.
Also the yellow ranger would get a daily sexing.

zeo was kinda meh, turbo was godawful. everything else up to spd was pretty good.

I hated Gobusters though. I watched the first 10 episodes, the last 10. Couldn’t go more.
This cannot be stressed enough. RPM, in my opinion, is one of the top 3 seasons we got in the US. RPM was pure gold for me.

One thing to note is that, even the two absolute worst seasons have ONE thing going for them. OO has Once a Ranger, JF had the Casey/Jarrod fight near the end.
I’m still debating on moving Time Force down. It’s a matter of whether the characterization and story with Wes/Jen/Eric was so good it overrides the complete lack of characterization for the rest of the rangers.

I actually rather enjoyed Jungle Fury. I wouldn’t have it in my S rank but A rank definitely. My only problem with it was the morphers. But the purple ranger is the second most badass ranger (after Tommy). I agree with Zeo, SPD and Dino Thunder being A rank as well though. I rank the two lowest as Mystic Force and Wild Force. I enjoyed Operation Overdrive more than those two.

That’s unlikely since Amy Jo Johnson probably wouldn’t come.
JF is not A-Rank material. None of the Rangers other than RJ and Lily are particularly likable or interesting. Hell, you can say that entire season was more about Jarrod than the Rangers themselves. Really hurts the conflict for a good amount of the season.
Mystic Force is also another thing I consider dropping. But I give it a slight pass since the season got shortened last minute which really screwed with how they were writing the season. It was one of those seasons that needed extra time to develop which they didn’t get. Thus characterization for every Ranger that wasn’t Nick suffered. Oh, and Nick himself just sucked. But again, I give it a slight bit of leeway due to being screwed. Plus Dark Wish was nice.
Wild Force I can see. It got overly preachy and Rick Medina Jr. didn’t learn how to act until later. However the story was solid, it gave resolution to Time Force, and it had Forever Red.
Wild Force’s ONLY good thing was Forever Red.
when i first saw mystic force, i saw them as witches and wizards, on broomsticks, n i said the fuck with this. sad about kimberly cuz zordon said that when she came back she’d b an even more effective ranger. any other old names coming back for megaforce?
Even if that’s the case, which honestly it isn’t no matter how much you hate that season, that alone would take it out of bottom tier.
best parts of wild force: forever red and merrick/shayla (how the fuck could she tell him no at the end?)
Mystic Force and Magiranger are like leagues apart in quality. So sad.
You could probably say that for a good amount of Sentai seasons.
Then again, I’m too lazy to watch them, nor do I honestly care to.
