From what someone here and at Rangerboard mentioned, Goseiger was not really good.
Goseiger was bad in my opinion. A cheap excuse for cards to be sold.
Holy crud we have a Sentai thread? Awesome. I’ve been into Kamen Rider for some time now, but have only gotten into Sentai in the past month. I’m watching Go-Busters as it comes out. It’s pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.
More importantly, I’m watching Boukenger as my first Sentai series. I’m only on episode 19 but holy crap this show is good. Like, it’s really good…
Boukenger was really good. Washed the bad taste of Operation Overdrive out my mouth(the ranger team-up with OG Black Ranger was the only good thing about that season)
I saw the opening to Overdrive last night and read its wikipedia page. Wow, not that good of a change-over. I’ve never actually seen a Power Rangers series before, so I do not know how they usually are.
Yeah the quality of power rangers dipped around Mystic Force(story wise). RPM brought it back to being really good.
And that’s why nobody liked it

Also as a question will Samurai be going through -any- more this is too fucking long again hiatuses? I think it’s seriously been 6 months total so far.
That’s because you’ve been looking at the wrong show. It’s been back for a while. I think they’re on episode 12 of the new season. Look for Power Rangers SUPER Samurai.

Who knows really, 17 episodes per season is an odd cut off point IMO.
im really late but a friend of mine showed me a facebook page that has like all the sentai on it…so ive been watching Gokaiger subbed FINALLY AND ITS SO DAMN GOOD

I see that goseiger is one of those sentai series that I dont have to worry about dorks with the “sentai is so much better than PR”.lol. BTW the sentai equivalent of lost galaxy was terrible. Just had to take that out of my system
I don’t know, Power Rangers has had spotty production values at times and poor writing at times also. I don’t really think it matters whether it is sentai or PR, shit is shit.
Don’t know if I will pick up that box set. I stopped watching PR after Zeo. Turbo put me off, mostly due to my dislike of the kid blue ranger. I didn’t especially like the kid in Dairanger (Kibaranger) either. I know having a kid in there can help kids watching the show to connect, but I just never thought it is executed very well.
