Casuals isn’t just for people who want to learn new characters
Why do you dislike that people play what they want to play

Probably the best mindset but I still find it baffling that people don’t even try something new when there’s really nothing on the line.

Edit: LOL and when you do beat someone like that they ragequit, obviously. Lord, this game. I mean, I’m messing around with Chun at the moment. If you lose to S2 Chun you can’t really blame anyone else than yourself.

Is there a better way of learning a character than against someone playing seriously? I mean, matchmaking works the exact same as in ranked, so it shouldn’t be too far off in terms of skill.

This nigga don’t know shit,I hate people who put statements about something others have yet to see. Those people unable to keep their mouths shut down or their hands into their sleeves aren’t helping Capcom at all,statements like the infamous “haters will be left behind” are making people even more hungry. I don’t know you all,but I’m extremely pissed off when I’m hungry and I can’t eat.

I’d agree if this was another game but you can die so quickly in SFV to dumb shit just by not knowing the right punishes or AAs so it would be cool to have some slightly less serious matches from time to time. But I guess you’re right, it’s probably helping me more this way in the long run.

I’m not a lobby guy because I like the diversity of the other game modes but whenever I hop onto casual matches with a new character I’m getting stomped game after game by people who’ve been playing their character for 12 months now. Everyone that afraid of losing some points in ranked or what?

The best part about custom mods on PC is that the guy I’m playing just sees a random ugly version of Gief’s default costume. Somehow that gives me comfort.

I play a lot of casuals mostly to practice certain things. I’m not looking to win matches as much as doing things properly.

Casuals is kind of a shitty way to learn a character. If you want to get your bearings first, playing lots of matches in a lounge is a better idea.

Casuals is for when you’re already semi competent and need to polish up. getting started though? Training mode and find somebody to play around with for a period of time.

Highland spotted in sfv about 3 hours ago. Capcom loves him. Ono loves him. He knows that. That’s why he’s still hanging in there.
