Moving meterless dps to frame 3 and nerfing AAs further when she’s a grappler with a straight down dive and an OD j.lk were big buffs. Indirect buffs can change a character just as much or more than the patch notes. You guys read character patch notes too heavy instead of looking at the meta.
Plus all that character really wants to do is push you into the corner and make you nervous with her v trigger. Which both of those things she can still do to similar effect. Ryu ok he’s weak now but he’s litreally just certain buffs away from being complained about again. You had to be stupid to drop Mika and it shows when the big Mika mains know she carries momentum and takes advantage of the jump game too well to drop
Long story short Mika is still a bitch and now Laura is a bitch too, S2 is great.
The downplaying was real ;o!
Funny how Capcom advertise a car made to counter the Honda HRV Du bought with CapCup money.
Maybe if Mika was downplayed so much then Alex still has a chance to shine!..

Daigo has the right approach. The secret meta is to stick with one character and ride the ups and downs of the seasonal nerfs and buffs. At the end of the day, when it’s all said and done, those who stuck it out will have the most mu knowledge with their main and have the most tech, setups, combos and gimmicks down.
He’s taking the long view and so am I.
