isn’t SFV rendering like entire stages too? I remember seeing a vid on youtube with the camera flying around. Stages like India were like Call of Duty sized maps lol. Prob partly why the game doesnt run well.

It’s part of the problem. There’s too many assests far away in the background that you don’t ever get to see and that the game has to load. This was also the case with SFIV, especially the skatepart stage

Jokes apart I am very autopiloty in Xrd because I’m so concentrated on not messing up the string to not leave anything on the table that I can hardly think of a variation in it. Also Leo’s oki is so strict on timing that if I delay by just one sec I eat a reversal. I know I will never be able to have the execution to play this game at high levels so the fun kinda stops as soon as I find someone who can play the single player side better than me.
In SFV I tend to have preferred routes (tick throws to build meter, yolo overheads) but I change according to my opponent’s habits.

do you think this has any correlation to this?

I didn’t play for an entire month after losing 15 matches in a row against the same Jack-O’, so I don’t think I stand more chances to win than before.

The “I know I won’t ever be good” shit is just painful. If you don’t try you’re not going to be good obviously.

It’s pretty easy to give up before you try then say “oh the game was too hard” or whatever.

Then again, people have the right to decide how much effort they want to put into video games instead of other things in their life and in which kind of video games they want to put their effort in. Specifically I’m not gonna put much effort in a game that has Jack-O’ in it.
