Hey, you have a higher win rate than I do. At the absolute best I’m only better by the tiniest of margins. So we’re both the worst. A shared burden is a burden halved.

Why don’t you take your time learning the lay of the land like me. I only recently went back to ranked to get more points so I could start playing slightly tougher competition. It’s worked, now instead of all 2000 or less I get up players up to 3500.

Note: I still don’t even use the VT or VR mechanics lol. I have SF2 ingrained in my head and it’s taken me a while to adjust to even using the s.HK CC for Ryu

No, but honestly I think I have enough theoretical knowledge. I just need to figure out how to apply it in actual matches. My main issue is that I tend to freeze up and just block when I’m feeling overwhelmed. I need to get more aggressive, particularly with not letting dudes jump in on me for free constantly.

I use casuals to test out different strategies and when I run into a situation I struggle with, I go back to training to learn the best punishes.

You need to learn when and where to either interrupt their move (and the timing) or when you’re forced to block. Once you gain that knowledge and experience matchups become much easier. everyone is going to struggle against tactics and block strings they’re not accustomed to and a lot of these players never adjust so once you shutdown their BNB level 1-2 tactics they have no backup gameplan
