Season 2 was where I hopped off. I looked at a guide book for Gen 3 and it immediately turned me off. Some of the Gen 3 Pokémon grew on me but in the end that was the end for me.
New designs are over done trash or simplified to extremes.

Season 2 was alright. I liked Chikorita,Cyndaquil and Noctowl very much.
They said that any gameplay related content including future balancing would be free. So far I have gotten every DLC character except Alex without paying a cent.

@amrraed the “use only these characters” is a lie as much as “you have to play a top 8 character in SFV to win”. Sure it helps to play a good hero, but if you’re really good with a hero and your team supports you there’s nothing really wrong with it.
The issue is solved by not doing solo queue.
