Of course youāre going to get Honest Aegis. This is Hoenst Fighter V.
People will still get clipped by overheads though due to game delay and Urienās c.MK will still having people check their low game. I think V Reversals are more of a problem for Aegis than anything else. Otherwise 2 Aegis walls still create more pressure in this game than most of the stuff you see in this game.
3S Aegis pressure, specifically corner aegis pressure in my opinion was super honest. I never felt overwhelmed by it, it was just a matter of very quickly analyzing spacing in order to know what the next button was going to be. Even the unblockable aspect to it, while strong, with practice, was absolutely possible to stop pretty consistently. The ping pong pressure (while super fun to block) was also one of the easier situations to block in, in my opinion, so SFV having that as the default also hinders Aegis. Aegis pressure was scary because Aegis had unique properties to it, where it would slowly drift in. Sometimes it was hard to know if you should even block it on your wake-up. Thatās gone, and itās too point-blank on what you should be doing.
V-reversals also, pretty much butcher the ability. And while yes, it does allow more āpressureā than SFV normally allows, itās not pressure thatās hard to deal with ā to me. And if I can do it, I imagine most can do it. Yes, I have a dozen or so years of blocking aegis behind me, but I think if a shitty player like me can do it, anyone can. Aegis doesnāt really need many changes though in SFV, I think the game engine needs it, which will strengthen Aegis. (Less block pause, faster overheads, and so onā¦)
SFVās definition of honestly massively deviates from my own. I also feel like itās contaminated a lot of playerās mentalities.

Iām ok with no changes. As long as they deduce Ryu, Cammy, Birdie, Bison, Laura, Nash, Chun-Li, Ken, FANG, Balrog, Urien, and buff Sodom, Akuma, C. Viper and Eagle.

Itās not really just blocking though. You can get thrown during it and usually in this game he will have Aegis at a point when your stun bar may likely already be pretty high addign to the pressure. Dealing with Aegis pressure in a high stress tournament situation I would imagine is pretty different than casuals/training mode. Considering how buffed Urien is in neutral in V itās about where it should be. He has good enough health to pretty much guarantee it every round any way.
Finals already? Possible news today?
This is the finals for The Last Chance qualifier. The real tournament is tomorrow.
For fucks sakes
