Marvel vs Capcom 4 forum board, when that comes… damn… 2018 baby. Getting my hopes up nice and high, if they come crashing down, well, it’s mahvel baby.
I wish this game had a more solid messaging feature. I know I’d probably mostly get hate mail calling me a shitty scrub, but there are matches where I just want to tell the other guy that he played better than me but kept making one crucial mistake. Like “Don’t press buttons after blocking a stand fierce. The extended hurtbox opens you up to LP SPD.” Or “Don’t mash crouch jab when I have super, because even on hit my super comes out faster than the next jab so you’re basically hitconfirming for me.”
I remember the PC version of SF4 on GFWL had the XBL messaging system, so I could message all my PC friends, and also message all my friends that are on 360, it was awesome. Used to love beating someone, and getting that XBL (pop up chime sound) and it saying " So and so sent you a message " you just knew that was message was salty rage. That’s a very important part of the experience.
On the plus side, if there was a messaging system, I’m sure I would’ve called someone a nigga by now, and I’m pretty sure that doesn’t fly for me outside of SRK.
Select a character.
The first table is filled with all the character’s moves that knock down. Select one by clicking it.
The second table, the one with all the dots, shows the number of frames on the x axis, and the type of knock down on the y axis. KDBR is back rise, KDR is quick rise, KD is no quick rise. OKIn has to be filled with the moves you want to add to your setup.
To do that, go to the third table (the one with all the character’s moves) and click what you want to do. If you want to add more moves to your setup, press 2 and click another one. Then 3 and so on.
Now, if you go back to the second table you’ll see a lot of “s”, “A”, and “r”. Those are the startup, active, and recovery frames of the moves you selected. You can click on the dots to adjust the second move so it starts right after the first, the third one right after the second one, and so on.
To find a meaty, you want the As of the move in the same column of the first frames of wake up.
