I like how the hip thing to say now is how everyone has Nash figured out. Meanwhile more Nashes than ever are steady doing well in tournaments.
Shoutouts to Jin putting in the grind time with Buksters tho. His face says everything while his playing just like me lol. He was looking so frustrated chasing Nash.
I really donāt think Urienās AA is that bad⦠s.HK may be slow but it has a hitbox directly above his head which makes one of the best anti-crossup normals in the game. Besides that it has good active frames and can be held+released to catch altered jump trajectories.
f.MP works great for jump-ins from further ranges, and EX headbutt is always there as a last resort. And if you can sneak in a v-skill your AA options become even better.
Welp, Iām out if anyone cares. Went 2-2. Having Poongko, Xyzzy and co watch your match because youāre playing their training partner (NL) sucks when thereās a language barrier preventing full conversation lol.
Sthk isnāt as good as it seems. It flat gets beat out by a lot of jumpins.
Urien currently has a hole in his AA spacing. He has a good far AA and a decent anti crossup AA though itās very slow, but he struggles at medium ranged jumpins that donāt crossup or come from far. Thatās the range where his cr.hp is best, but slow.
The story of Uriens AA is that though he has an AA for almost every situation, they are all slow and he requires an ability to mixup his AA as per the situation/range. He doesnāt really have the walkspeed to force people to jump from predictable ranges. His AA is just wonky. Not bad, just wonky cause of tight spacing and timing pre requisites needed to be useful.
Hey look. If any member of SRK wants an ego boost, just tell me youāve participated in a CPT event. Seriously, Iām not even being condescending. That shit is so cool and inspiring to me. Makes me think that one day I might be on stream.
You guys are cool as fuck and donāt let the haters tell you otherwise.
