I find it hard as well, transitioning between characters is the weirdest thing to do. I’ve always found it enlightening too see how other characters play and have to deal with though.
Came to realize there’s not a single match up that puts a smile on my face. Every character that show up on the vs screen makes me think “fuck, I’ll have to deal with that”. It’s some existencial crisis bullshit. Maybe I don’t trust my own skills, like everyting else in life? Why do I keep playing if I’m not happy while playing?

I like fighting Sim. He is unique and has a good amount of tricks without being annoying as fuck. Also a nice change of pace from the same old dash grab, medium punch frame trap characters.

thats not a handicap, its jus tthat your main’s moves are so ingranied in your brain that they are second nature. That’s a benefit, not a handcap. thats why i only play ryu. Plus the fact that all other characters only exist to be opponents for him, from the beginning of time.
